I just got back to "work" from lunch and court was already in session. Does anyone else get reminded of Mr. Roger's neighborhood by the voice of this defense attorney?

Is defense just filling time with these witnesses? Haven't they all testified before for prosecution? Or am I wrong and these are "new" witnesses?

That was Michael Peterson, I think? Peterson is a bad name to have as far as crime goes ;)

:floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: YES!

Ah is that the one where he had weird marks on his sneakers and his cap was at the top of the road and LE reinactments of the 'car accident' showed he was going verrrrrrrrry slow and the angle showed it was staged? Oh and he could cry at the drop of a hat?

I don't remember the crying part, but the rest sounds right.

What kind of last name is Seacat anyway? Where would that originate?

Calling next witness, state fire marshal ..... missed the name (really wish the defense attorneys would remember to turn on the mics)

I believe it has been shortened from the original which was SEEif youCAncaTchme.

I am soooo jaded after the KY testimony...

Is the attorney nervous? I thought he was going to break the court when he crashed into an invisible table a moment ago. The judge didn't look overly amused.

He's (defense attorney) been like this every day I have watched.

I don't blame the judge, I'm not amused either.

This witness was at the fire scene April 30th and took 336 pictures, and on May 2nd and took 96 pictures. Apparently he keeps a photoblog thing. This is the state fire marshall.

Samples were taken in the upstairs area, yes there were. Let's talk about the ones on the bed. Was there a melted gas can on the bed, yes there was. Samples taken from under the gas can, do not believe there was. Defense now asks if he has his report with him. In your report you referrenced where the samples were taken from. Samples were taken by Agent Montey.

Defense now backing up. Witness documented what he was told, yes.
Spoke to Cheif Steve. yes it was. Talked about the burned body on the bed.

LOL, objection, explanation, Judge asks just what is the relevance of this testimony? More explanations from prosecution, judge sustains.....

Another case where gas cans seem to play a major role ....
