GUILTY KS - Vashti Seacat, 34, found slain in house fire, Kingman, 30 April 2011 - #1

Apparently tunnel vision is a law enforcement word...

When I came through the door I was looking down her body at her face, There were flames between vashti and I because in my vision of her face, flames were in that frame.

How is she laying on her back, If she shot herself in the neck?????

Didn't he tell one of the arriving officers that her head was blown off? Now he says all he saw was blood coming from the corner of her mouth?

Especially with babies.. You just do. As much as you love your spouse, you scream for them but you go for the kids!!!

And all this time, We are talking at least 15 mins in his story here, He has not called 911.. He left his babies in the car alone..... And then ran back in..

During the 911 call his mind was catching up with him.
He thought the boys were safe and he thought he could go get Vashti.
Says during the 911 call he went into get Vashti.
Ran to the upstairs hallway.
At that point there was smoke in the hallway.
Got near the boys door, doesn't remember flame.
As he was coming up the stairs the smoke was shoulder level.
He realized if it is that bad in the hallway, he didn't realize the smoke was from the storage area, he realized he wasn't going to get Vashti out without breathing protection.
He headed back down the stairs.
Told the dispatcher he was going to get a wet towel.
Doesn't remember turning the water off.
Went back upstairs.
Now the smoke was almost to the floor.
Encountered the smoke before he was done ascending the stairs.
Got around the bannister corner.
Found out the wet towel is something that only works in the movies.
No air, couldn't breathe.
Said to himself "this isn't going to happen".
Decided he was not going to get killed trying to recover a body.

He couldn't breathe kind of like trying to explain the lack of smoke/soot in Vashti's lungs?

If she was on her back, and he yanked her up how could she be doubled over at the waist??

And with her head flopping backwards at the same time?

I think he said her head is GONE! something like that.. I think that is in the tape..

He is not acting like a LE officer, He is not acting like a Father....

He is so full of this.. NO PARENT leaves their babies and goes back in the house unless there is another baby in there...

This is where he really loses me..

While on 911 call, runs back into house. At that point there was smoke in the hallway, right around to where the boys door "was". I don't remember seeing flames at that point. I remember - smoke was shoulder level. I realized if it's that bad out here in the hallway, there was no way I was going to get to V and get her out without some sort of breathing protection.

I stopped, headed back down the stairs, and I told the dispatcher I was going to get a wet towel. Went to kitchen, got a wet dishtowel, and I don't remember turning the water off, went back up the stairs again.

I got all the way to the top, around the banister, that's as far as I got. At this point, the smoke was all the way to the floor.

Um, I got around the banister corner, and I found out that the wet towel thing is something that only works in the movies. I don't think I took 2 steps - there was simply no air - you can't breathe. This isn't going to happen.

I'M NOT GOING TO DIE TO TRY TO RECOVER A BODY

I dropped to my hands and knees, I can't even crawl under this, my calf bumped the banister, and I started sliding down the stairs.

Went out back the back door.

Taking an hour lunch. Start at 1:00 PM

After sliding down the stairs he went out the back door.

TIme for lunch and recess......wonder how much longer the defense is going to encourage the lies to flow from Mr. Seacat's mouth before the prosecution gets their wack at him?

Oh that is such a give away to his true feelings. He knew his wife was ddead and he was and is delighted.

Nice how he refers to his wife, the mother of his children as a body that has to be recovered.

This is really hard to listen to. He told the boys about thunder as he was buckling the boys into their car seats. The two dogs had followed them out. After he got the boys in the car, and the dogs in the car, he thought where'd he put his cell phone, but then realized it was in his hand.

I do wonder how he buckled them in with a phone in his hand.

I am a car seat freak.. My kids have the right seats and stay harnessed longer than usual. I have been doing car seats for lots of years and I will tell you, You can not buckle in a car seat with one hand. You just cannot. Not unless the child is helping..

Me thinks I smell..... Something..

It is 3 steps to buckle in a kids seat, Top clip, and bottom with 2 clips in the buckle..

ALL THIS WHILE HOLDING A CELL PHONE..

Picks up vashti, gets kids...

OH I know.. It is a movie script!

Make no sense to be why he would run out of the house and take the time to buckle the kids in the car.
He has a phone in his hand.

I would be running away and going to my neighbors and calling at the same time. I would never think to go to the car and buckle the kids in.

He makes no sense.

He had those kids buckled in that car before he shot her and set the house on fire.

He saved every living soul in that building except the dead, murdered wife he set on fire.

Well Mr. Seacat has explained under oath why his kids and dogs sat in the car in the driveway alone.....his explanation is because he went back in to try and recover his loving wife's body....I would imagine the real reason is because he went in to shoot her and start the fire.

He also sort of explained the one burn mark on the top of his foot, the hair burnt off the back of his leg...he hit it on the burning banister. He explained why Vashti was laying on the bed in the manner that she was found.

Wow. cold. might have been discussing grocery shopping. I know I needed rice, but then I also need milk. And the little chuckle. OMG. Serious duping delight going on. Sure wish we could see his face during this little story.
