Found Deceased KY - Amanda Bailey, 26, Madison County, 30 Jan 2019

It’s very odd the area is so close to where Savannah went missing.

Hi y’all. I use to be an active member here so many years ago. I was shellbell.

Hope she is found. Isn’t it odd that they are saying no foul play expected?
Just about to post the same thing. Related maybe? Hmmm.

This is her hometown paper, nothing new.
Wonder why her bf didn’t go after her?
IMO, it’s pretty severe when the news is advising to wear glasses & avoid talking & breathing, if outside. (Yes, breathing!). Jmo bviously we have no details but it seems she was upset & not thinking clearly, to take off walking in negative windchill temps. Too sad. Moo
Has it been said why Amanda and he ex-boyfriend were meeting?

One reason perhaps why the ex-boyfriend didn't go after her or couldn't follow her was that Amanda didn't walk along the road.

Maybe she was trying to get away from him fearing for her safety and she walked through the woods, cutting cross country to where her body was found.

Hey there, welcome back. :)

Richmond is about 3 1/2 hours from Madisonville where Savannah went missing. Although we don't know much here yet, the circumstances seem very different. I'm going to guess the cases aren't related.
MOO
Red flags go up for me anytime there's similar missing person's cases, although, as you stated, different circumstances, possibly no foul play here, but serial killers don't mind driving 3-4 hours. Hoping Savannah is still found safe somewhere. RIP Amanda

I think she was gone before the searches started. IMO. Jmo.

Joe, we only know she went to talk to the ex. IMO, the talk didn’t go the way she hoped & she had a “moment”, taking off for a walk. Also, I am not implying he’s to blame. Perhaps he was under the impression she left to go back to Winchester.

Sadly, I have to agree. I'm very curious as to how they ruled out foul play so early. It may very well have been an accident, but with what we know at this point, I have to leave the possibility of foul play open.

ETA: Monday, the temps were not negative. Sorry. Makes me think she was more at risk as she likely had only a light jacket. Moo

She went missing yesterday right?

Nope Monday. My bad.

Last seen Monday, reported missing Tuesday.
Deputies did “kinda make a search” Tuesday night.

I wonder if they agreed to meet at the lake, for a chat. Afterwards, he left & Amanda set off walking? I can’t find info as to where her car is? Maybe I missed that.
If distraught, maybe she sat down, crying, only to get disoriented when darkness crept in, which would have been 6ish.

I am as well. It was not the sense I was getting.

Basically states she went to talk with her boyfriend who said she walked off o_O. Not sure how they could say no foul play without something to back it up. If she was suicidal her and her boyfriend knew that he should have called for help so that doesn't ring right. And if he was the last to see her wouldn't that raise some antennas? Something is strange.
"Family tells Lex 18 that Bailey, who lives in Clark County, came to the area on Monday to talk with her ex-boyfriend. Her mother said the man told her Bailey walked off."

Deputies said they do not suspect foul play, but they are looking at all possibilities.

She was found in a field. Walked away from a meeting with an ex-boyfriend (his story). No foul play expected.

Well, how did Amanda get to the exBF's house? Walking? What was her destination out on Concord Road?

Walking and got lost? I don't know many woman that would cut across a farm field around dark. None actually.

Possibly despondent from the meeting? Suicidal? Choosing to freeze yourself to death is kind of against human instinct. IMO, you would choose another method besides the prolonged discomfort of cold.

Hinky-meter on medium high. Would like to know more details about the exBF, primarily because it seems like this death was getting gift-wrapped as an accident. Before she was found.

Why the apparent lack of suspicious protocol by LE?

If she walked, she had one heck of a hike. She’s from Clark county, she met bf in Madison county. Unless reports are wrong.

Iirc, her mom stated she went to talk with ex. IMO, this is nothing more than a young woman distraught over a break up. Again, imo.

On 6pm newscast, WLEX will have more details from the property owner as to why he thinks his creek played a part.

BBM

Sounds like she got wet crossing the creek and that caused her to loose body heat even faster.

Either that or she drown in the creek.

Maybe Amanda drove to the ex-boyfriend house to meet him for what ever reason and from there they rode together in his car and eventually ended up at the lake. She then got angry and walked off.
