Agreed. I simply do not understand why there are not more adoptions in situations like this. I get trying to keep a family together - but 7 children and parents not in the picture. It seems like there would be a much better chance that these beautiful, innocent children, born into what seems to be generational dysfunction, would at least have a chance to break the cycle. I'm not saying adoption is easy, but so many kids on this site are shuffled around among family, with little stability, and end up abused or dead. It's heartbreaking

BS shared custody of Chole with her grandfather who also had custody of Chole's siblings. They were all in the same house until the grandfather's health started failing. The siblings and the grandfather then went to live in Ohio with other family members and BS took Chole full time.

I wonder where they found the car...

Her car was found at a neighbor 's house. As soon as the neighbor seen that the sheriff was looking for the car he called the sheriff. The car was located and the house was searched simultaneously. The car was just 500 feet from the back of the house.

Has anyone seen details on why she had custody of Chloe? Was this informal or court ordered custody?

BS had custody of Chole do to both of Chole's parents not being stable and being addicts. Custody was given to the grandfather and BS

At the current moment both are still in jail. The prosecuting attorney stated he will go for the death penalty for AH. As far as court goes we were told it could be a few years before they are actually have there day in court.
