Confirmation that search is "massive."

A massive search is underway late Friday night for an eastern Kentucky couple missing for nearly half a year, Johnson County 911 dispatchers say.

Confirmation that bodies have not been located
The sheriff said that despite rumors on social media, their bodies have not been found.

Apparently Facebook AND Topix are both blowing up with the news they have been found.

Very strange... how they were not located earlier is beyond me.

Wolf Dreamer, do you believe Larry and Sandra were moved? I feel this is what happened. SO SO SAD. RIP Larry and Sandra. :(

This is a homicide no doubt.

:rose: R.I.P. Larry and Sandra. :rose:

I am glad that you were finally found so that you can be laid to rest properly. I also hope that this provides enough to keep those responsible behind bars.

How did they miss them? Or were they moved? I hope there's enough evidence to nail Willie and that Amanda isn't going to get off too lightly.

RIP Larry and Sandra.

I don't think they missed them during the first search. They must have put them there AFTER the search?

What better place to put them than a place that has already been cleared by LE?

OTOH, if that's not the case and they were there all along, whoever those dogs belong to better either retrain them or retire them and get some new dogs.

What a sad case.

Keep in mind the $10000 reward for info was just announced in last week or so. I think that is why they were found.

From what I read, the dogs did initially 'hit' at the barn. Can't imagine why no one dug there. But I'm just happy the Blantons were found. Maybe we'll learn more info from the bodies, such as how they were murdered. It would be great if DNA was found, but I can't imagine that would happen after all this time.

I'd love to ask Willie and Amanda if what they got out of the murder was worth spending the rest of their lives behind bars for.

Rest in Peace Sandara and Larry I hope you didn't suffer much and weren't aware of what was happening.

That caught my eye too and it's making me wonder about all the dog work in the Dylan Redwine case. The dogs told them months ago ' something is here' and for some reason 6 months later, they dig ? Weird !

On Friday, police got a tip about where the bodies were buried on the Blantons' Oil Springs farm -- behind the barn. They searched late last night and dug up the bodies, buried about four feet underground.

The bodies have been taken to Frankfort to be autopsied and identified. Police should know by early next week what the cause of death was in this case

Although they have searched the property many times before, officials say two bodies, believed to be Larry and Sandara Blanton, were found buried under a barn on the couple's property.

This is a homicide no doubt.

I don't know.. it does say the dogs indicated in the barn, and not which dogs. This reports suggest they were buried in the barn:

The walls of a barn at the home of Sandra and Larry Blanton hide the most gruesome images, the bodies of two people found buried 4 to 5 feet underground.

http://www.lex18.com/news/latest-bo...johnson-county-couple-still-awaiting-autopsy/

It takes a while to dig a hole that deep and big enough for two bodies, so you have to think he premeditated. Reading this http://www.wsaz.com/news/wvnews/hea...n-County-Missing-Persons-Case--171247071.html he had about 3 weeks to fill in and pack down the area.

It also says they were going to test where the dogs indicated.
