The Ohio River runs SW towards the Mississippi River. The body was found in New Albany, IN which is north of where she was last seen. If she was planning self harm, why go north/ northeast when the direct route is west to river.
it would just kind of depend on where she went into the river at. The Sherman Minton bridge goes into New Albany and if she had jumped, it would’ve taken her west where she ended up at. The other two bridges, the Kennedy and second street, are a little farther East. She really didn’t live that far from the waterfront and downtown area. Usually, passerby’s notice people jumping and call 911 but depending on the time of night, it’s possible to go unnoticed. There are other places she could’ve gone in at though and ended where she was. It could’ve even been a complete accident.
