Name of Stephanie Patterson

4/7/23, Officials in Whitley County have issued a Golden Alert Stephanie Patterson, who has been reported missing since 0800 EST today.
Stephanie Patterson is described as a white female, age 48, with short brown hair. Last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood, red pants and brown boots. Stephanie Patterson was last seen walking away from her residence off Grove Rd in Corbin, KY around 0800 this morning.

It is crucial she is located as soon as possible. If you see anyone fitting this description or know of Stephanie's whereabouts, please call Whitley County Dispatch Center at 606-549-6017 or local law authorities.

She will be entered NCIC.

Medication required but not taken today.

Following an extensive search late last night into early this morning, Mrs. Patterson has tragically been located deceased. There is no reason to believe that foul play was a factor. We ask the public to keep her family, friends, and community in your prayers.

This is following an extensive search utilizing all available resources including local search and rescue, Williamsburg Police K9, State EOC, and a host of volunteer firefighters. Whitley County Sheriff's Office will continue the investigation .
