KY - Tiffanie Lucas,32, arrested after allegedly shooting her kids

This right here. I have seen quite a few troubling social media accounts where account owner posts repeatedly about gang stalking and some of it is just out there. It seems to be a trending psychological phenomenon. There is no reasoning with persons who are convinced there is a conspiracy against them by some shadowy unnamed group of "others".

I think you are right on the money with this. My first thought on reading about her concerns about wi-fi making her do things was "I'll bet she was one of those who think they are being gangstalked every time she goes to the grocery store"

Yep, 100%. It's actually really sad. For example, the reddit community has these rules about how you can't doubt peoples' gangstalking claims and all this jazz. When you read it the forums, it is like one giant echo chamber. Someone posts a claim that they are being stalked by any and everyone, and then there's 50 replies of people reinforcing the idea that they are actually being stalked. I'm not saying it's far fetched that an individual could be stalked by another individual, but a lot of these gangstalking claims are just not feasible. JMO

Accused murderer Tiffanie Lucas looked stone-faced as she appeared in court charged with shooting dead her two young sons — infuriating relatives of the slain boys, including one hoping to see her “put to death.”

“She just looks like she doesn’t have a care in the world,” one of the dead boy’s aunts, Bobbie Baker, told WAVE after the hearing.

“I think her sitting in jail for the rest of her life is a cakewalk,” she said of Lucas’ “unemotional” expression.

Ultimately, the only fitting penalty is “for her to be put to death,” the aunt said.

Shortly after Maurice and Jayden were killed, Jayden’s older paternal half-brother claimed that several family members tried to alert authorities to their concerns about the children over the years.

“We wanted them. We would have taken them with open arms. We loved them so much,” Durrell Howell said at the time.

O.K. So the two murdered boys had different last names -- so they are half-brothers to each other. How is this adult brother, a brother to both boys? [I guess, perhaps, brother of one . . . half-brother of the other? Or? . . . ?]
Your question has been n answered but I wanted to add a cultural observation. Many in the black community do not call a sibling with one different parent a step sibling. If they share one same parent they simply say my brother or sister.

I once had a conversation with my partner's daughter that her 2 brother's and she all had different fathers therefore they were step brothers. She looked at me like I was stupid and said no they are my brothers.

I think white people in general are more in tune with such things.

I mean no offence it is just a cultural difference. We have many interesting conversations in my house about cultural differences! Especially about family and interpersonal relationships.

I'll be surprised if she gets the death penalty here in Kentucky. IMO she had a mental issue brought on by drugs.

Kentucky rarely hands out the death penalty. If you look on death row the DP cases are pretty horrendous. But this being 2 children that may trigger eligibility for a harsher sentence.

Video is 2+ minutes. TL is accused of shooting her two children, her plea is not guilty.
If TL is convicted, she is eligible for the death penalty. Her defense is unknown at this time.

Video is less than a minute.

Previously, police said Tiffanie Lucas called what she did was "a mistake", and that she was manipulated into killing the boys, and influenced by the internet.

According to court records obtained by The Courier Journal, Bullitt County's Tiffanie Lucas is charged with two counts of murder and a notice was filed on Sept. 11 stating she will use a "defense of insanity" when appearing in trial on Dec. 17.

According to the court document, "... the defense intends to assert a defense of insanity at the time of the alleged offense" but there was not a request to evaluate Lucas' competency for standing trial.

In July, conversations in the courtroom centered on mediation, which meant the possibility of some kind of plea deal being reached in the case, but Baker reiterated Tuesday that's not something her family wants.

"I hope it goes to trial. I want it to. She doesn't deserve a plea deal," said Baker.

According to the motion obtained by PEOPLE, the defense also intends "to introduce at trial expert evidence relating to a mental disease, mental defect, or other mental condition bearing in the issue of guilt and the issue of punishment."
