This Jason inmate seems believable for some reason

I agree. In fact in the end I found them all believable due to accumulative testimonies consistently in the trial.

They have really put themselves out there now and are at risk of great bodily harm. In prison the worst thing ever is to be labeled a snitch. It makes you a marked person. I am sure that is the reason why the other inmate refused to testify. Better to be in contempt of court rather than to be beaten to a bloody pulp or worse.

And why would these men lie? They didn't know Trey nor Josh Young. They received no deals whatsoever.

And even though the other cast of characters that have testified previously are quite seedy it also bolsters their testimony as well because everyone basically is saying that Josh murdered Trey by beating him to death with a bat.

Defense attorney shouldn't even be asking her any questions.

State only asked her about the last time she saw her brother.

This case is so hard because there is no tangible physical evidence so the jury must rely on the credible witness testimony (of which there are so few that are directly related and not law enforcement) and ones own comon sense.
Imo
Credible witnesses:
Terry Zwicker , Trey's Dad
Elderly kidnapped woman
Inmate from out of state

When you narrow it down like that the comonwealth's case is very weak, imho.

Are there any other credible testimonies, in your opinions that I missed?

I haven't gotten to the inmates yet...but so far I guess I'm in the minority but I actually think a lot of the witnesses, with huge exception of Josh Gouker, have been credible.

Amanda - I think only things she fudged were things with Gouker embarrassing to her and sometimes she minimized her relationship with Gouker.

Jahaira - I think she was believable and she was not that close with Gouker to be under his control other than on the trip.

Elderly lady - Believable, but I think she made an honest mistake that Angelique passed the gun to Gouker. I think she viewed Angelique and Gouker as the team, and Young as an innocent child caught up in everything. So it would be natural that she would think that Angelique passed the gun to him.

John R - believable.

Cassie - I thought she was believable, and felt like she wanted to do the right thing now.

Angelique - believable, but I think she is the one still the most attached/infatuated to Gouker, so unsure about her.

I agree 110% he is totally out of line with this witness, She is too young to be doing this to her.

Well thank you Tiger for that youtube linky.....I am sort of caught up!

From this morning......Witness John Robertson has an x-box and a playstation at his house that all the kids were playing the night of the murder. He named off names of the people there but could not remember the names of 3 of the boys.

Witness, Cassie, and their two children all sleep together in one bed upstairs that might be a queen bed....but it is big.....Witness also never woke up that night!

Witness found out that Cassie and Gouker were having relations after Gouker had been incarcerated for about 2 months.

Witness was also told by Gouker the morning after the murder before the body was found that young Josh had killed Trey.

Witness Embry was incarcerated with Gouker for a while.....the best part of his testimony was when the defense attorney asked him, "What he did NOT recall." The Judge answered with...You cannot ask a witness to recall what he cannot recall.....defense attorney then said....that was rather ironic wasn't it? LOL

This may be one of the worst mistakes the defense has made. He should have left her alone and asked no questions.

She sounds so young and innocent.
