Sheriff Gary Kinder said 41-year-old Wes Mattox was last seen in Flemingsburg on Friday afternoon. His mother contacted the sheriff's office over the weekend and said the last time he had been seen was approximately 1 p.m. on Friday.


"We don't know where he might be, what direction he could have headed in," Kinder said. "He apparently had a dog that would stay with him. The dog had left, but returned on Monday and (Mattox) wasn't with him."

There's a creek and unnamed pond to the northwest of his road ( I think it's Taylor Mill Road per Whitepages). I hope he didn't slip and fall.

Fleming County Man Missing

A Fleming County mother hopes someone will step forward and help find her missing son.

It has been a little more than a month since 41-year-old Wesley Mattox was last seen.

His mother, Jean Mattox, told LEX 18 she last saw her son on October 11.

FLEMING COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) - Friends and family spent Sunday searching for a missing Fleming County man who has not been seen or heard from in more than six weeks.

Wesley Mattox's mother Jean told LEX18's Evan Gorman the last time she saw her son was on October 11th. She along with more than a dozen friends and family members conducted their first group search for Wesley on Sunday.
