If Grandma lied about the night before - which I completely believe she did - then she needs to be charged with hindering an investigation at the least. AND, she shouldn’t have the two other babies! Someone else should have them so that they are safe.
If he has not been seen for 2years that should be very easy to confirm...photos school etc ...but why do this now ? Why did no one report anything outside the family...weeks / months is more logical..poor boy..heartbreaking
How did no-one notice 8-year-old Kyran Durnin may have died up to two years ago?
Questions are being asked about how Kyran’s disappearance was not spotted by authorities.

Kyran was taken out of school in May 2022. The school were told he was transferring to a school in Northern Ireland.

How can a little boy not be seen for two years and no action be taken?
About five weeks ago, two garda detectives appeared at the door of one of the houses on Hand Street in Drogheda, Co Louth.

A little boy was found deceased in a river in Germany on May 19, 2022. But I'm thinking the timeline is too tight for him to be Kyran, right? Do we know the exact date Kyran was last confirmed as seen in Ireland?

A deceased child was found in the Danube in Upper Bavaria. The identity and cause of death of the preschool-aged boy are still unclear.

Although it’s not that likely it’s good that you think outside the box!! Them leaving the country, crossing the canal/sea would probably leave some papertrail too.
The biggest problem here, i’m afraid, is time. If no-one is looking for him for years, there’s more time to hide him well & even relocate if nessesary
Poor Kyran, i hope they find you, you get the rest & burial you deserve & justice for what has been done to you!
It infuriates me how the onus is always placed upon social services or some other agency. All the while the parents/family are neglecting the child they chose to bring into the world and claiming child benefit payments on their behalf. And it seems may even be capable of using another boy to dupe the authorities or grandmother and lie about moving schools and area. But yeah let’s slam the social worker and school JMO
