Good posts today; yall indeed present some excellent points. So of my thoughts:

I'm thinking that MS's dad was asked to ID her bike; either in person or via photos. This would account for what he said he "noticed".

I tend to think that he put MS at a place that was comfortable for him (his stomping grounds), but not on property associated/owned by him or any family. He seems to have used so much "distance" for everything else, I just do not think he would put her in a place that would be associated with himself.

Laffy Taffy indicated BSL has had recent contact with his bio mother & sister. I am leaning toward the notion that they live in the area of TX where the DWT was torched. Can you confirm LT?

Someone may have mentioned this way back/early on after learning of the burned truck..... HWY 190 (just a few miles from his home) turns and jags a few times.... but it is also a road that goes right to the area of TX where the burned truck was located (back roads style).

Reviewing Megsy's Timeline.... and it is great by the way. The events do seem to unfold rapidly and likely unexpectedly for the evil doer - starting (IMO) with MS fighting back. Suddenly he has injuries he has to account for; media & LPD is looking for her/bike, searches start, reward announced and doubled, tip line, cadle vigil, DWT photos. Evil doer is racing to beat the band to set alibi and cover stories all in the first 5 days. I think MS either went in that river at WB or was put in his confort area - where ever the heck that is.

Thats why I was thinking he took her body to Mississippi or even Florida..he went in every direction but one (that we know of) and I think thats where MS is. Crazy I know but very possible.

It depends on whether or not Le has electronic data on him-they are searching very locally, and seemingly, quite intently.

It was march, april 2012. Supposedly he was out on parole in 2010. If you are out on parole, do you have to stay in contact with anyone? Maybe he had no contact with parole people since 2010? I cannot say he was trying to befriend anyone in the coffee shop setting, but he did look out of place. Prom time, couples coming and going. He was there regularly for a few months, because I have been a regular for a year or so now pulling late late hours. He sat alone on the couch; in full military uniform. cap, fatigues etc. But when his mugshot was posted, I thought argh; that's him the eyes. The skewed eyes. If you ask him a question, one eyebrow went up and the other went down.

Wasn't there some speculation on this site right after the surveillance pics were released that a (white?) truck could be seen in the distance behind Mickey in the Versailles pic with headlights off? I keep thinking about that and wonder how long he might have followed her.

I think his MO was to sit on parkside in a desolate area and watch for anything. He probably knew the comings and goings of lots of women in the area. sadly....scary very scary.

For one, I know everyone is thinking Holly Bobo. This I think was a crime committed by someone in that community.

in Brandon's case, he could feel empowered in fatigues and approach women more easily. They would be more inclined to trust a man in fatigues and less likely to report an assault...in my opinion.

CJ, imo, all indicators pointed from day one in Holly Bobo's abduction to an experienced stranger sexual predator as in Mickey Schunick's abduction..

There has been an arrest in Mickey Schunick's case due to the public tips. It has been over 15 months since Holy Bobo's abduction and due to the antiquated strategy of silence by the TBI. The guilty has escaped and the innocent victim and her family is suffering.

The motto of the TBI is "that guilt shall not escape, nor innocence suffer".

I think BSL had probably been stalking a lot of women beforehand. a lot....if he just sat at the coffeeshop and had military fatigues on for many hours; who knows where else he would have been. He was searching for something in the area and had many women in mind I think.

In high school, I was very good friends with Brettly.

The post about BSL being at the Johnston CCs 2-3 times a week is interesting to me, because Brettly is who even introduced me to that particular coffee shop. He would go there often, and brought me a few times to drink coffee there.

I said a while back that i swear Ive seen BSL somewhere. I doubt it's the coffee shop, but I still stand by that statement.

The fact that Brettly used to be a regular there (I don't talk to him much anymore, and we don't hang out) I wonder if Mickey and her friends ever went there.

You say you've never seen Mickey there, but maybe BSL did. I don't want to bring to much speculation. But as soon as I saw CCs on Johnston, and remember Brettlys love of it and taking his friends there, I just wondered.

It may not mean much,...? LE apparently cleared Brettly of any involvement, but I have to say, when this was first aired, it struck me very odd.

It just seemed too early on to be speaking as if you knew someone did anything. It always bothered me, but maybe it's just the way he expressed himself. In a state of trauma he could have just spoke out of assumption. He was sure that this was way out of character for Mickey to just go missing on her own, and tell no one.
So, imo, this was the only option BW saw left- someone did something to her.

I'm with you. I believe it shows how well he knew MS. He knew someone had to have done something from the beginning. It was way too out of character for her and given all if her future plans it didn't make sense.

Also, someone asked about the Duson property. I'm in that area every weekend because my best friend lives there. She told me that road in particular where BSL has property is closer to Rayne, and towards the back of Duson.

But she said that's a very odd place to have land.
It's just basically a trailer on that road, and a bunch of fields.
Unless he planned to do some farming, or build something, it's a very odd place to get land. Very rural.

If you google map that road, you will see a trailer, a few what appears to be sheds, and a white truck parked underneath a shed type thing.

I wouldn't pay much notice to the white truck because i doubt it's BSLs. Those things are EVERYWHERE in Louisiana.

Dont know why he had land there of all places.
I know you said LE has searched the property, but i doubt they've searched every area of it...

I wonder if poison ivy is around those properties.

What other case? I saw him many times in military fatigues on cc's late night hours during march april may 2012.
