Off topic, but police are investigating the finding of a skull in Indiana that may be that of Lauren Spierer (forgive me if i misspelled that last name).

This was the girl who went missing around a year ago, and fit a very similar description to Mickey. Around 5 foot, 90-100 pounds, blonde hair, disappeared in the early morning hours. In fact, people from the area contacted Lafayette LE about the cases being so similar.

But LE ruled out there ever being a connection...

LE said that the truck did not have a GPS in it, when found burned, but they did not say they do not have access to GPS data. TES is back, and as they are very busy, they generally return to a case when LE has specific areas that require searching. I am hoping that like with the truck, and the video cams, BL did not think about the GPS until after the fact and that the data is somehow available to LE even if he removed the actual device before burning the truck.

Yes it could be. When did she see him?
Again, what other case could this be important in? I definitely saw him numerous times (10) in full military fatigues between March, April May 2012 at cc's coffeeshop on Johnston Street in Lafayette. A P.I. I know also has seen him there.

It's interesting that BSL claimed the jersey number that he did in relation to the guy that "mugged him" since you all said it is not a jersey generally sought after.

I say this, because his mother seemed to be very into the Saints and especially his brother. You'd think he'd know a little bit about the sport and team, right?

'Ironically that is what the TBI said through their 3 PIOs(media management) beginning on 04/13/2011, 'it has to be a local'..

CJ, imo, all indicators pointed from day one in Holly Bobo's abduction to an experienced stranger sexual predator as in Mickey Schunick's abduction..

There has been an arrest in Mickey Schunick's case due to the public tips. It has been over 15 months since Holy Bobo's abduction and due to the antiquated strategy of silence by the TBI. The guilty has escaped and the innocent victim and her family is suffering.

The motto of the TBI is "that guilt shall not escape, nor innocence suffer".

I agree that it was a stranger to Holly but a local to the community that knows that area. They are dense woods. I am not aware if it is an area that would be known to non-local hunters. Outside of that, it is a very strange case with some odd circumstances. In Holly's case, I would not be overly surprised if she is alive.

Many, many more cases would be solved if the public was used as a tool. TBI is notorious for their silence.

RE: LE said that the truck did not have a GPS in it, when found burned..

Why would a law abiding citizen remove the OnStar system from their vehicle?

Who said he is a law abiding citizen? And what law abiding citizen burns his truck and reports it stolen? (all assuming he did this of course...)

Have you called this in to LE?

My other questions would be...

Did you know him by name? or did you recognize him after he was arrested? Did you ever speak to him?
Did you ever see him speak to anyone else?

TIA
No. But I did tell the P.I. I know that I saw him at the coffeeshop too. I think he knows BSL was there too. I have since regularly relocated to another coffeeshop.

What does A.P.I. stand for?

Holly Bobo was last seen being dragged into the woods by a man wearing camouflage.
OH awful. The link you provided does not take me to the Holly Bobo case. Can you provide me with another link. I have set eyes on this perp; never seen him in anything other than military uniform. He was in the military; how long do you have to be out of the military to 'not be allowed to wear fatigues'? I cannot use the I'd's I have other than in places I am supposed to use them. I can identify BSL voice. I can identify his face. My few words with him definitely left me thinking he was 'not right up there'. If YKWIM.

eta: thank you for correcting the link.

Miracles do happen CJ, but I'm not optimistic..Wish I was...

Yep, even Bonnie & Clyde took advantage of jurisdictional boundaries and linkage blindness way back in the 1930s...

What other case? I saw him many times in military fatigues on cc's late night hours during march april may 2012.

Others I believe were referring to the missing girls in Spring, Tx. I was thinking on a wider scope in that I would check to see if there are any unsolved rape/assault cases involving a man in fatigues. I am thinking the military uniform gives him some sense of identity.

Holly Bobo was also last seen with a man in camouflage.

I do have to say, unless you are active military or are presently in the woods, camouflage is my least favorite clothing choice.

You certainly do need to report this tip to police right away.

Has anyone noticed that Brandon's brother has recently removed his pictures, and information from his profile?

I immediately recognized him from his mugshot; an younger version of him without his beard that they posted. I definitely saw him at cc's and said a few words to him. I am local;but only after returning to this area after 25 years away. He sized me up with 'scrunchy eyes' like who the hell are you?

Roughly 6 miles away.

It's more like 30 miles from University/St. Landry intersection in Lafayette to the Lawtell area.

He wore a nametag on his military uniforms when at the coffeeshop. I remember it as being Brandon. I remember seeing his wholename on his tag on his military uniform. Yes I have said a few words to him and could recognize his voice. He told me he had been stationed at Ft Polk. He told me 'the military kept him here' instead of going to iraq and afghanistan. He stared at me wierdly, like 'what the hell are you doing talking to me in public' kinda thing. I now recall that I do not remember him talking to anyone else at said coffee shop; he just sat there for hours and hours. like me, except I was buried in books in my own world. and he was probably in his own world too.
