LA LA - Caddo Parish, BlkFem 10-14, UP2784, skull found @ Coroner's office, Sep'07

I know someone mentioned the possibility of this being saint Louis Jane Does head. Does anyone know if CODIS compares DNA between multiple sets of unidentified remains? AFAIK only Nuclear DNA can be entered into CODIS Unidentified Index, so if CODIS compares samples within indexes this should be an automatic match.
Don't quote me on that tho

@Caring1 Hey could you post the current list of NamUs exclusions for this Jane Doe? I would greatly appreciate it.

beautiful girl who perhaps was absorbed by a subculture, perhaps she fell for some lie from a groupmate... I hope with all my heart that she appears or at least know what happened to her but being so many years old she must be deceased..
rest in peace little one

Is it possible that this child's skull ended up at coroner's office because her body was donated to medical science after her death and that's why nobody seems to be looking for her?
Are children allowed to have their bodies donated for science? It sounds dumb of me but just seems a bit weird.

Don't take my word for it, because I'm not 100% sure, but to me it makes sense that children's bodies could be used for scientific purposes. I've seen foetuses in jars. Still not sure how a child's skull could end up in someone's office as a part of interior design, but I don't want to rule out that possibility just yet.

I do not know about the CODIS piece, however, through efforts to create a series or documentary about this case, I have gotten to know the detectives well. When I saw the Louisiana case posted, I sent it on to Sergeant McGlynn, who is currently in charge of the St. Louis Jane Doe case. He was appreciative, and stated he had looked into this case before, but he was not aware that it was a skull only, previously it was listed as "partial remains". He was planning to contact Louisiana to follow up. This was at least a year ago, so I'm confident it was looked into.

Bumping up this case.
I am saddened to go through it tonight and find that seemingly all of the girls suggested years ago are still listed as missing in NamUs. So many families who don't know what happened to their child.

I hope this case is still being actively worked-on.
