with all of the tourists in NOLA right now. someone has something on their iphone pics or video I bet. they may not know they do, but i bet they do. everyone should be asked to check their pics from that night if they were on Bourbon around that time

Below is just a very bare boned basic Timeline that I put together sourced strictly from local news media.. to atleast give us a starting point as well as a point of reference of days/dates that we can hopefully begin to better flesh out with specific times and details that we can add to it. Lemme know what other details, times, and info you guys have that we can add to it.. as i said its just the basics but hopefully it'll help as we continue to learn the tragic details to this beautiful, young woman's senseless and heinous murder...

They were quoted earlier as saying they would release the video of her leaving the club with two other people tomorrow...so looks like they need help from the public, JMO.

It's cold comfort, but I hope that Jaren Lockhart's friends and family are able to find a bit of solace in the fact that her killer(s) are likely to be brought to justice. If there's video of Lockhart leaving the club, there's probably going to be video of where she went after that, as well.

I have seen no statements from nopd up to this point. All info is coming from miss LE. Maybe since they have not had any links showin the crime too place in LA and until that point letting miss take lead since body turned up there???? Or maybe they don't want to share yet. Guess we will see which dept releases the tape...

I've been out in Nola before at ampersands I know it's not temptations but we were all ID'ed and frisked. Girl for girls and man for man.

Good to know. If I worked in that club I would want the patrons to be frisked before they were allowed in. I would not want to go into a private room with a customer who had a knife or a gun.

I doubt the perps are the ones in the video. Surely the knew about the cameras. I think just about every club has surveillance cams at the front door.
It doesn't make sense they planned any thing criminal and then walked out the front door with her. I guess maybe something could have gone sideways later on. But I think maybe she went someplace else after leaving the couple. ?

I have so many questions regarding this video!

How did she appear as she left... Coerced, or comfortable?
drugged (evidence by gait, support of the two people, etc.)?

can the fellow employees recognize the two as regulars, or first time visitors?

can bf and/or friends of Jaren recognize them in any way?

I realize you are all asking these questions and more.. But I am so wanting for LE to find the perp(s) who committed this heinous crime to Jaren, and that justice be served.

Ok, its not about what her job was, its about the lack of true serious attention paid to finding a women who happens to dance, or have tattoos, or piercings. People see this and discredit the missing person based on this...that is my opinion based on watching threads here. Do certain jobs come with a higher risk? Of course! My problem is the lack of attention they garner based on the above factors!

I wonder about Jaren's phone. I figure that she had one. I wonder where it was pinging from and when did it stop. Perhaps they threw the phone in when they threw her body in the water. We haven't heard anything about her phone yet, have we?

I totally agree that common sense tells me that these two are likely NOT the perps.. but the one thing that has me leaving it open that they could have some level of involvement is that IMO whoever this couple is IMO without a single doubt I know that they have been fully aware that the girl with whom they left out of the club with in those wee early morning hours of that Wednesday HAS BEEN MISSING AND HAS TURNED UP MURDERED AND DISMEMBERED ...IMO this couple has been fully aware of this for quite some time.. yet investigators still haven't a clue as to ho they re and are now going to release their images publicly..

This is what has me still leaving the option of their involvement on the table..if it weren't for that id be very secure in stating they were not at all involved. .jmo

Most people who work in the Quarter are in the service industry(waiters, bartenders, dancers, etc., and they tend to go out after their shifts. Maybe Jaren left with the 2 in the video to go party...they could've met other people on the way. Doesn't mean the 2 had a hand in her murder but they should definitely be found and questioned. At the very least they may be able to provide some leads.

I'm sure that's why LE announced today that the video will be released tomorrow. Gives the couple an opportunity to come forward before their faces are plastered all over the television and the web.

There is a chance the couple went back home to busy lives and have not heard about the murder. They could be totally clueless.

Admittedly, this is VERY unscientific, I was just curious. So, I did a google search of murder cases where victim was dismembered. I looked just at the first 10 that came up to see who was found guilty. 7/10 were very well known to victim(friend, girlfriend, business partner, neighbor). the other 3 were ... 2 met that night, and 1 was kidnapped/complete stranger.

Out of these 10, 2 were by a couple, 1 couple killed together, the other case, the man killed and the woman helped dismember/dispose.

Not sure what this tells me other than it could be any situation! And there are many cases out there of dismemberment! Also that in the case of a couple, it is possible. Male could be a very controlling man that woman is scared of....
