I'm not sure how far it is...or what the reasons were for them to go there.
Is there a restaurant in T Parish and they do not have in Kenner?
Or perhaps they just knew the people or it was better run at the one in T Parish?

However, for what it is worth... we have been going to a Mexican restaurant for 25+ years. We go as much as once a week.
We drive from Town A through Town B, Town C and into Town D to get there. About 30 minutes or so.

Then again, we drive an hour and a half for ice skating lessons.:sigh: So maybe my perspective is flawed. :what:

So whoever told them that they went to T Parish for dinner didn't know they were all over TV? Maybe that person called them in. If it was her family though, who knows.

I believe Margaret went to Loranger High School, If so is that not in Tangipahoa Parish. Would she still possibly have family there?

Isn't Tangipahoa parish the same place Jaren's parents live???? So the couple were arrested there but lived in Kenner? things that make you go "hmmmmmm".......

Interesting, yes:

He says he last heard from her two weeks ago when she reached out to him in Tangipahoa Parish from New Orleans asking him to come and get her. But days passed and he had trouble reaching her again. Then he learned the disturbing news from his mother that his sister was missing and then later learned that she was dead.

Just a thougt, please dont throw tomatoes

Speaks is a criminal with a lengthy record and on the run-hiding out from NC.

If these two committed the crime wouldnt he be long gone?

Also, is there a press statement today? or did I miss it? TIA
eta: I must have been thinking of the 2pm mag. hearing

RBBM:
I initially had the same thought, but I wonder if he was keeping her close by to make sure she kept quiet about all of it?

Scott Satchfield ‏@Satchfield Margaret Sanchez, now considered a suspect in Jaren Lockhart’s murder, just appeared in an Amite courtroom for an extradition hearing.

So question - if they are indeed brought to trial for this horrific crime, would it be in Louisiana or in Mississippi. I guess I'm having a hard time understanding why they would be sent to Mississippi. Yes the body was found there, but if the actual crime happened here? Just wondering how that works.

I don't know what it is, but I get the feeling this is a little off.

They'd be tried where the crime occurred.

If LE doesn't know where the murder happened, maybe they know where the kidnapping or other assault happened.

Hmm...what were they doing in their *former* home? Is someone else living there?

I was hoping we would have heard from the coroner by now who'd been working with tidal experts, etc. to determine where the remains entered the water.
