Wasn't this Angela or Andrea Ball??? (forgive me if I'm wrong IRCR the first name exactly)! I believe she had three children....I think the facts of just about EVERYTHING are being mish-mashed together and people including myself are being confused on quite a few different subjects here.......

Thanks so much for posting this!! I never read this and was still under the impression that Ball's death was ruled a suicide....Now I just posted about how I was suspicious that AB and HM case had alot of things alike but this does change my thoughts just a little as to how connected I thought the two cases were.......HOWEVER, I guess there is still a good chance they could be connected and now I just don't know what to believe anymore :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Right...I think in there being so many things alike in these three cases paired with the fact all three of these young ladies were dancers in the FQ is getting all of us a little confused at times!

Bessie, remove this if there is some reason that it should not be posted. I know the statement are not coming from LE and are statements from Hillary's family so not sure if this meets the criteria.

It is frustrating that there is so little to find about Hillary's death. I found this article (link below) about the vigil held for Jaren and Hillary in which Hillary's sister described Hillary's death and the fact that the case is still open and that LE is simply is not interested in pursuing it. NOPD is overwhelmed with cases and their murder rate is hundreds each year, many of which are unsolved.

Hillary's sister had this to say about her sister's death ""When my sister died, no one really listened to us."
"The case is still open, but the police just stopped investigating."
"Hillary's body was found in the bathtub of her apartment. There were missing items such as her cell phone, and someone had turned the thermostat in the room up to 85 degrees, accelerating decay."
"It's very suspicious, how she passed away,"

Hillary's sister said they don't believe the suspects in Jaren's death killed Hillary, although the cases may be related.
"We actually think it was someone else," she said. "We just hope the police really decide to look back into her case and get us some answers."We know my sister's case was a murder."

I would love to see the police do something with this case, even if it was just to address it and state that it is an open case and that the death was suspicious and state the cause of death. The case seems stalled and LE seems content to have it that way rather than have it as an unsolved murder. Sad but that is often how the New Orleans PD operates. Frustrating and infuriating!

Those are excellent links, SwampMama. I posted two others a couple of days ago to confirm there was a connection between the two women. Your links bring us a little further in getting to the truth. We still don't have all of the facts (about HM's death) verified, but at least we're starting to make some headway.

He was the first person that came to mind when I heard that she had disappeared.

I read somewhere early on that there was a guy that was obsessed with JL and wanted her to leave her boyfriend for him. Do you know if the "j" guy was the obsessed?

I don't know about anybody else but I am losing faith that MAS and TS will be charged with the murder of JL. It has been over three weeks since JL's torso was found. There have been no new reports one way or the other and this is making me nervous. I expect MAS will be walking out of jail before we know it.

Sadly if it was NOPD only on this case I would have given up even before she was found. I would hope that with all the different departments on this they would all be fighting to be the ones who solved Jaren's case. They would want to be the one that found that one break in the case that lead them to solid proof as to who, what and where this happened.

Probably because Mom remarried after TCS became an adult? I got the information from his maternal grandmother's obituary, as well as her interview as DJ.

Don't know if being caught up in real time is such a good thing as it means Jaren's thread has slowed to a crawl but can't believe I'm current.

I want to say a special thanks to "Justthefacts...", "MemoryFoam" and all the other locals who have shared their knowledge with us.

Anybody know if MAS has posted bail or is she still sitting in jail? I pray this case isn't dying a slow death. I pray LE is on top of it and those murder charges are forthcoming whether for MAS and TS only or others yet to be disclosed. Everyone that loves Jaren deserves answers!!! I pray they get them!!!

Just jumping off you post here, but my biggest fear is that they will be charged for her murder and the case will be closed.

If they acted alone, yes, that outcome would be fine but if they were accessories and a killer is walking free this isn't acceptable.

LE has to get to the bottom of this and make sure justice is served to all parties involved. This may be the reason why (I am hoping) that it's so quiet.

As far as MAS goes, I do wonder how long they can actually hold her. The best place for her safety may be behind bars, if in fact there are others involved in this.

He seems to have moved on to another dancer there, one that was interviewed in one of the earlier news segments.

Speaks' mother, DJ, voluntarily granted an interview with the news media. WS rules say that an individual named in the media can be discussed within the context of the media report. It does not mean that she is "fair game for investigation", or to put it another way, "sleuth worthy". Naturally, we are all free to sleuth anyone we choose on our own. We are not, however, allowed to post information about non-players, including friends and family members who have not been named as POI's/suspects. For example, we can discuss the fact that DJ is TS's mother. We can discuss her statements to the reporter and voice our opinions about them. We cannot post personal information pertaining to her.

We can LINK to certain information IF it is relevant to the suspect/victim/crime. Another example, last week we were trying to confirm if TCS the suspect and TCS the rehab specialist are one and the same. On a hunch that TCS might be connected to the facility's location via his relatives, I researched his family background and property records. My search didn't reveal a connection, but I learned quite a bit in the process. I haven't posted any of it, however, because it does not directly apply to TCS. The bottom line, what we want to avoid is bringing harm to innocent individuals by invading their privacy and causing their names to become unduly associated with a crime.

One more thing I should mention because I've seen it on Jaren's threads. Innocent third parties should be referrred to by their initials even when they've been named in the media, unless there is a specific reason to post a name. It's common courtesy, and I think we'd all hope for the same respect if we should suddenly find ourselves on the periphery of a crime investigation.

Dear Folks,

I am new to this forum, but I been reading about this case of JL on websleuths for a while. Hopefully I can help in someway. I am very good at figuring out mysteries.
I have assisted LE in the past with some cases, but I am not a member of the LE.

My sincere condolences to the grieving family. I know what it’s like to have a family member murdered. We were fortunate that the person who committed this horrible crime to my young family member was caught and brought to justice.

One thing that is really bothering me and I don't believe it was ever posted on this site. The video that LE released shows a couple (TS & MAS) walking into Temptations who were both smiling, like they knew somebody inside the nightclub very well. I know they
were talking and joking with the lady who was at the front door, but when you look at the still pictures from the video, you can see MAS looking and talking to someone inside the nightclub-like she knew that person.

It prompted me to make a road trip down to New Orleans with a drive-by to see MAS's house. I had noticed her neighbor across the street was outside watching MAS’s house.
I also noticed that the windows on the garage door being covered up, as shown in the photos. I then made it to the French Quarter to see if I can find anything. I wanted to see if I noticed anything unusual and I noticed that there were not many surveillance cameras outside the clubs, just a few, but there were many surveillance cameras inside the clubs and businesses in the French Quarter area.

Somebody had mentioned the Rigolets on this forum before, so I thought it maybe worth checking into. I took a drive from New Orleans to the Rigolets Bait Shop. I met the person who owned it. He had plenty of maps to sell for people to navigate the waterways. The place is very quiet and dark. However, you must have a boat to get access to the water, because of the tall beach grass in that area. You would have to launch your boat from the Bait Shop for public access. However, there are people living in the condos that are located next to the bait shop, so I am sure they would have heard some noises in the early morning. Launching a boat from a private camp would be another way. Perhaps the owners of a fishing camp were not there?

Judging from the weather patterns during that time, I remembered that there were some thunderstorms coming from the west. This may explain how the body may have surfaced on the beach in Bay St. Louis, MS. I truly believe that the suspects must have put her body in the water in this area, if they were driving up Highway 90. There are a lot of desolate areas off this particular highway, besides the several and very expensive fishing camps that I had noticed on my drive in that area. It’s just my theory, but I do have a bad feeling about this area. This may explain how JL’s body was located off the Mississippi Coast. They would have probably got away with it, but not with the water moving from west to east during that time period. They probably didn’t consider the water currents. Again – this is just my theory.


As a side note, I did read the book by Ethan Brown – “Shake off the Devil Off.” regarding the story of Zack and Addie. It’s really an eye opener. The author Ethan Brown really did his homework before writing this book. It was mentioned on this post that Addie and Margaret were friends? I do find that information very interesting. The ABC Show Final Witness - “Graveyard Love” about Zack Bowen and Addie Hall will be on at 9:00pm
