Dear Folks,

I am new to this forum, but I been reading about this case of JL on websleuths for a while. Hopefully I can help in someway. I am very good at figuring out mysteries.
I have assisted LE in the past with some cases, but I am not a member of the LE.

My sincere condolences to the grieving family. I know what it’s like to have a family member murdered. We were fortunate that the person who committed this horrible crime to my young family member was caught and brought to justice.

One thing that is really bothering me and I don't believe it was ever posted on this site. The video that LE released shows a couple (TS & MAS) walking into Temptations who were both smiling, like they knew somebody inside the nightclub very well. I know they
were talking and joking with the lady who was at the front door, but when you look at the still pictures from the video, you can see MAS looking and talking to someone inside the nightclub-like she knew that person.

It prompted me to make a road trip down to New Orleans with a drive-by to see MAS's house. I had noticed her neighbor across the street was outside watching MAS’s house.
I also noticed that the windows on the garage door being covered up, as shown in the photos. I then made it to the French Quarter to see if I can find anything. I wanted to see if I noticed anything unusual and I noticed that there were not many surveillance cameras outside the clubs, just a few, but there were many surveillance cameras inside the clubs and businesses in the French Quarter area.

Somebody had mentioned the Rigolets on this forum before, so I thought it maybe worth checking into. I took a drive from New Orleans to the Rigolets Bait Shop. I met the person who owned it. He had plenty of maps to sell for people to navigate the waterways. The place is very quiet and dark. However, you must have a boat to get access to the water, because of the tall beach grass in that area. You would have to launch your boat from the Bait Shop for public access. However, there are people living in the condos that are located next to the bait shop, so I am sure they would have heard some noises in the early morning. Launching a boat from a private camp would be another way. Perhaps the owners of a fishing camp were not there?

Judging from the weather patterns during that time, I remembered that there were some thunderstorms coming from the west. This may explain how the body may have surfaced on the beach in Bay St. Louis, MS. I truly believe that the suspects must have put her body in the water in this area, if they were driving up Highway 90. There are a lot of desolate areas off this particular highway, besides the several and very expensive fishing camps that I had noticed on my drive in that area. It’s just my theory, but I do have a bad feeling about this area. This may explain how JL’s body was located off the Mississippi Coast. They would have probably got away with it, but not with the water moving from west to east during that time period. They probably didn’t consider the water currents. Again – this is just my theory.


As a side note, I did read the book by Ethan Brown – “Shake off the Devil Off.” regarding the story of Zack and Addie. It’s really an eye opener. The author Ethan Brown really did his homework before writing this book. It was mentioned on this post that Addie and Margaret were friends? I do find that information very interesting. The ABC Show Final Witness - “Graveyard Love” about Zack Bowen and Addie Hall will be on at 9:00pm
Central Time.

Welcome to WS, Clodumbo. I'm glad you were able to get on the road and check out the locations for yourself. No matter how much we've read and how much we know, nothing beats seeing with our own eyes. Now you understand why most of us who grew up here or happen to know the city well have a strong feeling about the Rigolets/Lake Catherine/Lake Borgne area.

If you ever get the opportunity, take a drive down to the silver slipper casino in MS. The area is known as bayou caddy. If you drive behind the casino, you will see a small mariner with lots of shrimp boats. At night, it is very dark and secluded. It is on the top of my list along with the rigolets.

Also, it always looked as though MAS is looking at herself in a mirror as she walks into temptations. I thought the "talking" was still directed at the door girl as she walks through what seems to be a hallway.

Anyone know if that is a mirrored wall in temptations?

I just watched the video again and I am almost positive it is a mirrored wall that they are walking past. You can see the double image (reflection) as they walk by. It looks like MAS catches the reflection of herself as she turns around to say something to the girl at the door. It gives the impression that she is talking to someone to her left.

I'm trying to find links to locations with what information that we have. I found a article about a club near BR, that was shut done. The owner is a RSO and was arrested due to the fact that he was a RSO and not allowed to operate the club for that reason, so he used other individuals names to do so. His last name is the same as TS maternal miaden name. The club once was or was near a club with the same name as one in the FQ. He also owns lots of properties in the area.

While checking other parrishes for properties, I found several next to each other in orleans parrish. Some owned by the same last name as TS and as his maternal mothers last name.

Maybe this is all a coincidence or maybe this can help someone else fill in some blanks.

I haven't checked further east of Orleans Parrish.

I've always wondered why LE never published the surveillance video of MAS, TS and JL leaving Temptations. I know there have been a few post here speculating different reasons. I'm starting to wonder if that video shows a possible third party leaving with them. Maybe it wasn't released because any video they had would have been from the back making it difficult to identify the other person.
Just makes ya wonder.

I don't think LE will make any further charges until they have to; why start the so-called "clock" ticking before they need to? As long as they can keep them locked up, I don't think they will be in a hurry to file murder charges, but I feel fairly confident they will do so if it appears either one would be released. I believe they do have evidence.

Lauren Spierer and Samantha Koenig are two recent cases that come to mind in which LE would not release surveillance images showing the victim with a suspect/poi. Those are just two; there have been others where LE held back video. In fact, right now I can't recall one case where the public was given access to video of a victim with a perp. The main reason it's not done is because once made public, the images lose their evidentiary value and can be ruled prejudicial to a defendant's case if it later goes to trial.

I agree with cluciano that evidence exists. How much and who it implicates won't be determined until the FBI lab processes everything, and that takes time. I also suspect LE is having a tought time putting together the scenario that played out that night. :moo:

LE did not need to post the photo/image with Jaren in it...they got results with the other image and this way, they did not have to show Jaren in her last known photo alive...

I guess I was thinking about Carlie Brucia from Sarasota Florida. Her kidnapping was caught on surveillance camera and it was released to the public. The perp was identified by the public and caught. Unfortunately he had already raped and murdered the girl.
I have seen others but maybe the state of Florida handles there cases differently.

I don't know about anybody else but I am losing faith that MAS and TS will be charged with the murder of JL. It has been over three weeks since JL's torso was found. There have been no new reports one way or the other and this is making me nervous. I expect MAS will be walking out of jail before we know it.

When they recovered parts (ugh) of JL's body, I had high hopes LE would figure out who is responsible quickly.
In other cases where no body has been found after months going on years, no charges have been made even though there are suspects. :banghead:

In Kelli B's case, gone since April 2012, an RSO sits in jail for not notifying the system of his address change (hey, just want to let you know I'm living behind Froggy's bar now :waitasec like TS in Jaren's case is doing now. How long does the law allow for these guys to stay behind bars under this type of charge?

In Kelli's case, no new details have been released. A recent interview her sister gave on blogtalk radio raises questions as to whether or not some basic initial 'facts' in the case are proven facts at all. I'm struggling with the notion that the details aren't considered to be the citizen's business because, if certain fats are known, people may be able to either dispel or solidify whatever is in question moving closer to the truth of identifying the true perp.

Also, I'm not convinced that technology is assisting to solve cases. I hope LE goes through the motions of comparing all poi's cell phone activity with the victim's. That said, a perp who is out to kill may not have a cell. These days, that in itself could be fishy if records show that every other day he was using one.

It's so disheartening that these soulless animals are getting away with these crimes.
Even if they're finally arrested fifteen years later, it's not justice imo.

Is there any possibility that TS could be Addie Hall's older brother that raped her? This was the first thing that popped in my mind when I saw the connection between Addie and TS both being from the same area. Also, it made me think that could have been how TS first made contact with MAS, by playing on her emotions of them both having lost someone "close" to them. JMO of course...:twocents:

My brother in law is a manager at one of the waffle houses in the area. LE did not talk with him, any of the employees or review surveillance tapes. IMO isn't that investigating 101. They started talking to people in the FQ but that's where it ended.

First, this isn't a "real" modeling site, imo. I used this back in school for photo projects, but this is a site for freelance work - not even semipro. Take it for what it's worth.

MAS has children, sorry I think I have missed that information skimming about. Has the children been found/made aware "safe"?

Probably because Mom remarried after TCS became an adult? I got the information from his maternal grandmother's obituary, as well as her interview as DJ.

My comment is meant to debate the suggestion made in an earlier post that TCS's father, TGS, had not been involved in TCS's life.
A woman can have a child without the sperm donor ever knowing she gave birth to his child or the boyfriend can ditch out on both mother and child, etc.
In both cases, the child would, imo, less likely be named after the bio father. Some fathers leave but remain in a child's life,
some fathers just leave. The fact that TCS was named Terry, same as his father, indicates to me his parents were together in the beginning. Where is TGS? What does he have to say about his son?

TS's mother has two additional last names from what I can tell. The media located her though her last name, J.
She was P and S prior to Johnson and now she has a new last name. Kind of confusing since grandmother's obit
is from 2010, is that right?

We agree that LE doesn't seem to use civilian help as much as they should? Right?
