This article was released the same day as the WWL article. When I read this it gave me the impression that perhaps they do not have the evidence they need to bring charges. This is Very Disturbing to me. How can it be even remotely possible that these 2 can possibly be "in the clear?'" There has to be someone out there who knows something that could help solve this. Someone who knew Jaren surely should care enough for her, her daughter & her family that they would come forth with any info they might have. Crimestoppers is anonymous. A letter can be mailed to detectives anonymously. There are options. This was a horrific crime & those responsible have to pay. Can someone tell me how such a crime can be commited & there be no evidence? Something about that just doesn't add up for me. This case really does need more publicity. It also needs to be treated as a much higher priority Than what it has been. Way too much time is elapsing. I will continue to pray for JUSTICE FOR JAREN & will pray that it comes very soon & with a vengance.

ITA...does anyone know how to get this information out to MSM? Maybe those Fox News shows (ugh, I know but they have a wide audience)? I have NO CLUE why this gets no press outside of Louisiana/Mississippi. Why isn't the press chomping at the bit for more information? They had suspects in custody, only one of them still is in custody. The FBI has the evidence! Is there a letter writing campaign or something we can start? There are far too many people, who were loved, cherished and then murdered whose cases are cold. I don't think I could stand it if this one ends up that way too. Maybe start at the very local level and work our way up? IDK, I'm not local, but maybe someone from there can get us started?

Someone, besides the two people arrested and under suspicion for this horrible crime, knows something. Someone out there has spoken to, seen or heard something. I know we are all praying that they come forward and DO SOMETHING RIGHT. A little girl is without her mother because some animal decided it was ok to do this to Jaren.

I truly hope that the police get their ducks in a row and prosecute the people responsible for the loss of this lovely girl.

Two articles in this week's Sun Herald (see link below) focus on escort services and human trafficking on the MS coast. As I assumed, there are still no escort businesses with licenses to operate in MS. Crimestoppers in the MS coast area is asking for info to help aid more arrests related to these crimes.

Maybe someone in Jaren's family or someone with the Hancock DA office could start a reward for any evidence leading to the arrest of anyone involved in her murder. If a reward was set up, then maybe other concerned individuals could contribute to increase the amount. I bet the right amount of money would get someone talking about who did this to Jaren!

Just an afterthought...Could MAS and TS be charged with human trafficking if they were escorting Jaren to MS for the purpose of making money from an escort-type job she was offered?

I meant to post this back when it happened, but I saw Margaret Sanchez riding the St. Charles streetcar line about a month ago. She still had the flimsy clothes, dyed hair, and nervous tic thing going on.

She got off near Tulane, and I was surprised to see her at all, much less that far uptown.

Perhaps she was going to one of the hospitals in that area? I wonder why she wasn't driving her car.

Interesting. I wonder if she still has her car, the white one she was picked up in. I'd be curious to know if that car was in her name or her parents. It would appear that she has no source of income at this point so someone would be having to pay insurance on it as well as the gas.

Also, I would think she would be living at home with her parents on the north-shore, seeing as the house in Kenner looks deserted. I guess her uncles didn't think that she was a good tenant.

I don't know that she has any close friends that she could stay with. Friends of her tend to end up dead and mutilated so I can understand why no one would want to be friends with her.

Also interesting that she has no fear of being alone in public. Awhile back her father said the real killer was still out there because he doesn't believe his daughter had anything to do with Jaren's death.

So if MAS "can't remember" and has amnesia from "food poisoning" and he dad thinks the "real killer" is still out there then what the heck is she doing out in public alone? Isn't she scared of a roaming killer who dismembers people?

Oh wait, that's right. She isn't scared of running into the killer because she has nothing to fear. She knows exactly who the killers are. One of them she sees in the mirror each day and the other one is in custody.

She does have children so it is possible she were meeting them there. I can't imagine she was there meeting anyone else except family. She is not employed that I know of so I doubt she would be on her way to work.

But being on a streetcar would indicate (to me, anyway) that she does not have a car. I could be wrong though. It wouldn't be the first time.

As you look at the rest of the map, you can see how MAS can cover alot of neighborhoods with a few transfers/connections. Maybe MAS was doing another Streetcar photo shoot??

This is what I am very afraid of. I hope it's not the case.

Until MAS and TS (or anyone else) are charged in Jaren's murder, I think everyone in the NOLA area has to operate under the assumption that there's a diabolical killer on the loose that dismembers his/her victims (or at the very least potentially half of a maniacal killing & dismembering duo on the loose as TS is in prison). Just knowing that MAS is out and could be riding the streetcar next to a potential victim should scare everyone.

I am reminded of that old case where two college-age boys murdered a girl just to see if they could pull off the perfect crime and not be caught. I sort of think these two had a similar plan. They were infatuated with a case involving someone they knew. They may have discussed gruesome murders many times. Perhaps it just came up one day that they wondered if they could pull off a heinous murder and cover up their tracks.

I can certainly understand how that gives one that impression. My more positive spin on it is, it could simply be a "ploy" for lack of a better word, by LE to get even more information/evidence or to revitalize the investigation regardless of how much evidence they already have or don't have. It could make certain people feel overly confident that they got away with something to the point they let their guard down and let something incriminating out.

I get where you're coming from, but if that's the case they are truly dumb and dumber. You don't pull off the perfect murder by 1) choosing an acquaintance as your victim, and 2) allowing yourself to be recorded on surveillance videos.

That is the main reason I say the murder wasn't planned. Or, if planned, there is another party involved, and MAS/TS were the dumb patsies who unwittingly delivered the victim, probably in exchange for money or drugs.

I still question the first dancer's story. And to answer reedus' question from awhile back, (why did she speak at all?) she was on stage when MAS approached her. People would've noticed. LE might have shown a special interest in questioning her. I would have, if I were LE on this case. (What was so important that MAS couldn't wait until you went on break?). It wouldn't take long for word to get around that LE is looking at her as a key witness. (JMO. I'm NOT saying this is a fact.). If that's the case, the bad guys would be very interested in what she had to say. So out of fear or self- interest (doesn't want to lose her hook up), to reassure them she didn't give away any secrets -- and to make it loud and clear -- she gives an interview to the media and reveals her cover story. I can imagine the creeps behind JL's murder would get a big kick out of it. Not only does it cover their hides, it points the finger at MAS/TS.

That's true from the university/ riverbend area, one can connect to buses travelling to all parts of the city What time of day was it? And in which direction was the streetcar headed? Maybe she's taking classes. Maybe she's working as an assistant/nurse/ sitter. Many elderly uptown residents have "assistants". Isn't she a CNA? Or maybe she's found a different type of job. Maybe she was going to see her lawyer, walk around the zoo, say a novena at Holy Name. Lol. Who cares.

It is interesting that SCR ran into her. Personally I could care less what she does with her borrowed time. Unless someone spots her walking into a police station. That, I'd want to know about.

He did have a trial date set for today, but he entered a guilty plea on 09/04 on one count of failure to register as a sex offender. He'll be sentenced 12/13/12.

Just thinking of Jaren's daughter and family with the upcoming holidays coming up. I'm sure Jaren would have enjoyed dressing her up and taking her trick or treating, having Thanksgiving dinner and opening up Christmas presents. Praying for Jaren's family as it can be the most difficult time for many when their loved ones aren't there too.
