definitely not good . now jaren's little girl has lost both parents in differing ways. hopefully this poor guy can get his life back on track.
Unfortunately, I think Foster's recent arrest might shine some light on what may have led up to Jaren's murder and the horrible events that took place after. I always thought it was peculiar that he was not mentioned in her obit or in many of the updated reports by various media after he was cleared of suspicion in Jaren's murder. Given the number of years they reportedly were together, from high school thru the birth of their child to the last night she was seen alive, you would have thought he would have played a more important role in identifying the suspects last seen with Jaren, where they would have taken her, and what might have happened to her. I've always wondered whether his identity was being protected due to his own drug addictions, possible drug debts, previous run-ins with the law, or was it an intentional omission.
Anyone who has been following Jaren's case since the early summer knows that there are several social networking sites that are still accessible that were used by Jaren and many close to her. Foster apparently had spent some time in jail around the time their daughter was born. He must have been having a very difficult time resuming a lifestyle where he could support Jaren and their daughter if they were living in that horrible motel on Tulane Ave. when Jaren was murdered. They both seemed to be battling addiction and financial situations that were out of their control. Obviously, based on comments posted on media facebook pages with links to Foster's arrest this week, even those in Jaren's family seem to have lost their patience with his inability to turn his life around for those closest to him.
The fact that Jaren's fiance has been arrested for meth production, that MAS appears to have been a heavy meth user, and that the MS Gulf Coast has had too many meth busts to even keep track of is too much of a coincidence in this case. The toll that drug abuse and dealing takes on so many lives in the US is heartbreaking, as is coming to light in Jaren's case.
I still have to wonder if Jaren's murder was somehow related to a drug crazed party turned bad, or did it involve a bad drug deal with ruthless suppliers whose identities are being protected by all connected to this case?
There are too many who knew Jaren well, who were with her the last night she was seen alive, who should have known where she would go, what she would do, and why this could have happened to her not to have more information come forward to aid in the arrest of those responsible, and finally close this case for Jaren's family.
