I am shivering right now. Do you really not see what I see? In the second picture, it is so OBVIOUS there is a HIJAB on the passenger and she looks female! The man in the driver side is male black. I think we have a man and a woman here; or a passenger that is pretending to be a woman.

You may have missed some previous posts:

From the very poor quality pics that were released of the VOI I realllly don't think we can say if the occupants are black or Muslim, or a black woman pretending to be Muslim. Just as we are not allowed to talk about rumors already going around, we definitely shouldn't be creating any new ones. We need to focus on what we CAN see.

Let today be the day!

and

Amen.

With the amount of pixelation and the lack of detail available to any forensic person, I dont even know where to start...... the pixelation is too great to differentiate Christians and Muslims.

That second photo is "enhanced" by a user. Meaning its photoshopped to show some details the user interpreted

The windows are tinted right? So everything would seem dark colored.

A couple days ago a mod popped on and said we had NO verified posters. But ACI says he is now, and a mod yesterday said they were in the process of verifying several more.

eta: See below for mod's answer.

<modsnip> Anyway, what drew my attention to your avatar was the T-shirt and I want to buy one. Do you know if they're being sold anywhere except at Blackham?

The whole chain of evidence starts with knowing if that is truly Mickey on her bike that far away from the camera with all the bike riders out that time of night, apparently. If that truck is following her.. for how long, is it one or two people following her. Does that make it easier to grab her and all her stuff?

If we can't prove she ever left BW's house, think of the havoc that would cause? He could be in jail waiting to be proved innocent. So, we analyze, tear things apart, until there is nothing to go on and move on to the next. That's how I do it anyway.

I also think LE has gleaned what they will from all the videos, photos, evidence they presently have and I think they give the public information not just to give them info they don't have but so that fresh new eyes can dissect it and see if they missed something. Isn't that what we are doing here?

My Dad said there are no dumb questions. I can't completely agree with that. But, that is what the man told me.

Sorry Chicken, not ringing any bells for me, haven't been to either of those places. LOTS of people have these t-shirts, there are some like mine, some like the original missing poster, some "Keep Calm and Find Mickey" with a crown, white and colored variations of each. AFAIK they are only at Blackham for now, I think Charlie is in the process of figuring out how to sell them online.

Enhancement using filters is OK in my book, but it's unclear to me if the poster actually painted anything in with the paintbrush. If so, I think the picture should be taken down. Is there any way to tell if this happened? I could paint anything I wanted. And if the poster DIDN'T, I'd like to know that, too. Just a seat-of-the-pants opinion - any alteration with the Photoshop brush seems like it should be accompanied by a very specific disclaimer.

I honestly don't know the provenance of that "photo," and invite Mr. Noatak to fill me in because I think he said something about it, but I missed it.

Thanks.

Ok, looking at the enhanced photo, if that were a picture ofthe driver, wouldn't he be REALLY close to the dashboard? Leaves no room for the steering wheel. JMO

LOL. I also see ET or else a big huge alaskan huskie. BTWay, I have seen those dogs in the Girard park down here. Even though this is a temperate climate, dogs that should be up north are seen down here.

Because you threw ET in with an Alaskan Husky, I can't tell if you're intending to joke or whether you think you see a Husky.

Are you joking, or do you see a specific breed of dog in those pixels? Please elaborate.

Sorry! It was just a random thought....more coffee please.
My mistake - Noted.

Sorry Chicken, not ringing any bells for me. I haven't gone anywhere there is Karaoke in several years...haven't been to Vermilion River either. LOTS of people have these t-shirts, there are some like mine, some like the original missing poster, some "Keep Calm and Find Mickey" with a crown, white and colored variations of each. Thanks - it's a great shirt and a great idea. Sorry, I wasn't really awake - wasn't trying to ID you, really. My mistake!! :blushing:

lindsayw, you may want to Photoshop blur your face on your avatar. If I thought you looked familiar, then maybe an undesirable might, as well. Just a thought.

It did have disclaimers on it. It's a fantasy representation/enhancement of the picture. The user "enhanced" (painted) in the details they saw so that we could see them too.

Her parents have 100% ID'd that as MS on ST landry. A.C.I. is going to check about another possible camera on the back of a law office facing Parkside near the cemetery. If there is a camera there, then it might have picked up the white vehicle we see turning onto versailles from Parkside in MS pic on versailles.

I tend to lean toward PERP hanging out on Parkside for any women that night; but IF i am wrong and the PERP followed her from Artmosphere; whats is the route PERP would have taken to get from ARTMOSPHERE to Parkside by way of university?

No biggie. I see you got snipped...would never have realized that was not allowed, but I see it is, and with good reason.

Knowing which camera may have caught her helps decide which streets to look down. Knowing which streets to look down helps decide which perps may have learned her route. Knowing which perps may have learned her route may lead to Mickey.

It seems tedious, but there's a method to the madness....

Its not that I don't understand why, its just that I doubt anything will come of it. JMO

IMO this was random. Maybe accident...maybe intentionally.

I think it's more likely that the poster meant that jealousy isn't gender specific.

I would agree with that, if that's what the poster meant.

Her remark was glib, at best, wouldn't you agree?

Both keeponsearching and I both see eyes and a big round face in the back seat. The fcae takes up the whole windwo; if it is an animal, it is a big animal. IF MS and bike had to go in that back seat, the animal would have to be let out somewhere. That got me to thinking 'what if it is a dog' and what if an animal was found dead by the road recently or put in a kennel recently. I cannot seem to enlarge the LE photo on my computer and rotate to see if I see anything of interest. I am not trying to spread rumors. Just thoughts....

Do most abduction rapes happen in the vehicle or at the perps home or safe place?

The VOI had to have been following her from St. John because the Univ camera would have picked him up if he was headed southbound on Univ and took a right at St. Landry(the beat up old cars route). And it wasn't the eastbound white truck on St. Landry (despite what people say) bc we see the truck later heading north on University. And it didnt turn onto St. Landry after being northbound on Univ because it would be at an angle in the LCG photo. But instead it's in the far right lane.

So it is probable that it was following MS down St. John. But not that closely bc we don't see it in the pic of her on St. Landry. And it could only have followed her since she turned from Versailles bc the Mid South Bank camera on Versailles didn't pick it up.

That area is only a few block from the downtown bar district, a perfect place for a perv to stalk drunk unsuspecting women heading home. And it's right next to both courthouses and the jail. There must be cameras there. Have they checked the video from 1-2 am on all the cameras in that area for the VOI? Considering how efficient the perp was in terms of not leaving evidence, I would think he didn't just see MS and suddenly hatch this plan. He would likely have been cruising the area before that time.

Also, it looked like to me that the Mid South Bank camera had a twin pointed in the opposite direction from looking at it when I passed. If that's the case, it should have caught the VOI coming down St. John. Also, Gulf Coast Bank is on the corner of St. John and Congress. The VOI could be picked up on those cameras if that bank has any.
