Mickey has zero in common with the Jennings Eight. She "may" have used alcohol and pot occasionally, but the use of alcohol and drugs were not a LIFESTYLE for Mickey, as it was for the Jennings victims.

There is ZERO EVIDENCE to suggest that Mickey ever used "powder" or any hard drugs at all.

Mickey's lifestyle includes putting a premium on getting an education, she takes++ that very seriously and is dedicated to her education. Her lifestyle includes an emphasis on physical wellness, she is in excellent physical condition. Her lifestyle includes holding down a job for a lengthy period of time, and dedication to her job and her animals.

It is not canonizing Mickey to stick with the facts. And not one fact supports your supposition. Not one.





I'll pitch in, too!

Can those of us on the ground meet in Lafayette next week, if conceivable or allowable, for coffee somewhere, to discuss a more positive way to help this case. Is anyone planning a vigil, á la Critical Mass bike run following her path, women's groups on campus, etc, awareness something, business/street camera revamp for city council? Something concrete & positive instead of where this appears to be unfortunately headed?

I think it struck me because I believe this perp is either damn lucky or very intelligent and organized or both. This crime seems well planned out, maybe the perp even knew where cameras are. And if this is an intelligent planner this person could have fixated on MS and been planning this for a while.

Not much to tell. People I think tired of feeling like their tips werent being heard or followed and wanted to see more work being done. Obviously WS played a part in letting people know about my Agency and the fact that Ive been working on this case 24/7. People who want as many boots on the ground as possible in this investigation.

There are lots of unsolved murders of women and lots of violent, murderous people.
We can't assume they are all down to one person...not even if they are within the same region...
I just don't see similarities between Mickey going missing and the other women being murdered in Jennings...

cluciano63, that's the conundrum; you can't rule them in, nor can you rule them out. This is common when stranger abductions occur. Seems with each unsolved abduction of another innocent victim, the occurance only escalates. Not because it is the same predators, but because it empowers others to act out their evil fantasies.

Ironically, the FBI redefined the definition of serial killer a few years ago & reduced the number of victims from 'three, to only two'.
Still scratching my head over this decision. This combined with the psychopathic behavior caused by many drugs has increased the number of serial killers astronomically, imo.

Yes, they would have known the location and planned in advance to put it there as some kind of ruse or taunt. I know the locals say it is a dumping ground for lots of trash but the location seems interesting considering there are more remote places to have placed the bike, deeper places where they could have weighted it down.

It has always been my understanding that this is the last sighting of her period. I am 100% positive that LE said she made it as far as St. Landry. There are unreleased images of her on St. John.

What reason could here be for not releasing images of her on St. John? Would those have taken place after the image in front of the Circle K? Thanks

If the truck seen facing into St. Landry would have tried this technique, just as an example, he would have hidden the bike rider from the patrons of the Circle K, but she would have been in plain view of cars passing by on University. University is a busy street, even at two AM. Lots of people driving home from the bars. He also would be on video loading up Mickey, her bike, broken pieces, etc. All while cars pass by!

If it turns out that Mickey's bike was hit by a vehicle....and it may have been, I think it would have to have happened in a more private location.

Only, the thing is, if you look at the photos, and as others here have stated, you can see debris, as in objects, and a light very much like the bike light under that truck.

That's why I think that after the truck could have hit her there, picked her up, made an immediate right into the parking lot, with the bike underneath, got out of sight of the cameras, then did a turnaround.
