I think it's likely that she either died during the day from her injuries, or possibly insisted on medical attention to the point where he felt he had no choice but to silence her. I really doubt that a severely beaten girl would not have been noticed during an escape attempt... what a scum of a father to do that to her little girl... children are meant to be loved, cared for and taught everything in life...
rest in peace little one

Raymond died in 2012 and is buried in Bastrop, LA.
