Call me crazy I think they both were calling out to KC to please stop the madness show some compassion tell what you did to Caylee so that we have true closure and this doesn‘t keep dragging out.

I mentioned this on another thread, hope it's okay to restate it here. Unless Lee no longer considers Casey part of his family, he speaking to someone else. In his statement, there is a clear distinction made between "those who have the answers" and "my family." JMO.

I think he is definitely talking to Casey. I think he's wording it in this way so he doesn't appear to be outing her. There is no way that any of them think she is innocent--not at this point. I think that they would like for her to confess-but from her own heart (she's not going to do anything that they demand of her)...AND they aren't going to outrightly say something to damage her defense. LA is not stupid and there is no way is he addressing some individual "out there" that is guilty and soon to surface. No way! He's speaking to Casey.

If I were Casey's attorney, I'd have advised her not to watch. Maybe she followed her counsel's advice.

It all seemed like one big message to KC. All of them, mom, dad, and brother. I think they all regret everything, but there is nothing they can do to change it.

So each, in their own way, is saying goodbye to KC.

I have thought all along, that this has been a long process of letting her go. She has been dependent and malignant to the family--and there's nothing to do now but cut her loose to handle her future in the correction system and her legal team as best she can.

They know she has to do this by herself.

I think he's appealing to whoever is: the kidnapper out there. Maybe he is being more specific, perhaps RK?

I think "the promise" was to KC and was to find the kidnapper and murderer.

Just IMO.

George cracked me up with his "sense and sensibility" phase, I thought he had holed up for a Jane Austen film fest. And then there's Cindy, the "nurse of decomposition" who apparently graduated from the University of "Science is just science."

I'd hate to hear this family try to order a Big Mac and fries at the drive through.

He is hiding something but wants all to know he is not going to cave in. I wish he and Casey would have taken some communication classes. It is very difficult to try and decipher what they say.

What I got out of his brief statement is:
* He is going to be strong and will stay united in the cause.
* Lee made a promise to....? I say Casey..

Is it tied in with the jail visit? Could he and Casey be referencing the same promise. I heard Casey say to Cindy, who looked concerned at the jail, "don't worry, I haven't told them anything" (in reference to a Dr. visit.)

Why haven't they found him? He should be on LE's radar for possible involvement or motive.

When your daughter and sister are charged with murder and there is a possibility that one person has not been explored,.....red flags should rise. Why protect this person? Lord knows, the A's aren't afraid to throw most under the bus....but this person receives all kinds of protection from the family....makes me curious as to their extreme loyalty to a person they say they don't know. Maybe this is where LE wants to go with their questions in the near future. Maybe the promise is that Lee will never tell who the person is.

Usually that is the first or second place you go....I don't get it. Maybe there is something cooking behind doors and that is what Lee is talking about when he says, "Knowledge to facilitate." Lee has the kge to facilitate matters IMO...but doesn't want to...and maybe wants this person to come forth.

Then I must be insensitive too b/c I thought the same thing. I can't even begin to pick apart his speech, I was baffled. I have ALWAYS though LA calculates every word he says to the point IMO he is what some would call a smart arse. He knew IMO exactly what he was doing by using initials, it was to make everyone wonder.

As I watched him do that with my eyes, my mind was going...WTH? I thought he was biting something open and then kissing. Could the bracelet/charm be like a locket that can be opened...and the clasp was tight? I just didn't know what to make of that...

I'm sorry ladies & gents, as much as I try to maintain some dignity & respect
for this family, the above statement has me doubled-over in laughter.

Only such original humor can provide that sudden dose of reality & respite from all our serious attempts to try to interpret what may be uninterpretable.

No wonder LE has called in the FBI Psycholinguistics Dept!

Scratch the word "defense" above and insert "brother" and you may be

Thanks all for not stomping me for my comment. Man, I just don't "GET" this family. But you gotta admit they are interesting, in a backwards sort of way.
