Where did anyone say you aren't allowed to view whatever news sources you want? What does tone have to do with anything?

The topic is about a shooting in a movie theater.

perhaps LE wasn't certain there weren't more shooters.

and OMG at the Ambulance guy whose daughter was in the same row as the shooter and ran home!

I'm so sad...this is where I live. This is Mighty Mick's home town. Thankfully The Grand Theatre had an emergency plan that they used. The governor, State Police Superintendent, & FBI are on site. Acadian Ambulance supervisor was giving a report. His daughter was inside watching the movie. 9 people were transferred to LGMC. LGMC has a trauma center.

Same story we heard 70 times in the Colorado Batman Theater shooting..."we thought it was part of the movie when the gun shots started".

After spending the past 3 months watching that trial...I truly am sick to my stomach hearing that. Not sure why that is what brought tears to my eyes and turned my stomach...but it did.

Yes and some media outlets took the opportunity to inject a note of fear by suggesting/asking if this was an ISIL attack.

next!

Prayers to all you locals. This sounds like it's very close to home.

Not releasing the name of the shooter at this time (says LE)

Also, conflicting reports on if it's 2 or if it's 3 deaths.

3 in critical condition

Response time was less than 1 minute (as per Jim Craft, Lafayette Chief of Police/KATC news. Some critical injuries and 2 deaths, one being the shooter. The DA's on the scene.

How is this any different than pervasive complaints about the liberal media? Who exactly is stopping you?

Can you show me in this thread where anyone mentioned a liberal media, must it be a constant drone of left vs. right?

It's ok to agree to disagree here. Scroll and roll if you need to. There's always the ignore button too, but that goes both ways ;)

It's ok, I can verbalize when I care to.

When something like this happens... I guess your brain just goes to the most obvious answer. It's looking for a horse and there's a damn zebra in the theatre. :(

I respectfully disagree. A leader should be at the scene and quickly.

But, I also agree leader should "do something." Right now, the thing to do is be at the scene, imo.

Sigh....we all should be doing "something" so this doesn't keep happening. But what?

Sure, right after you show us a post here where someone was trying to stop you from watching certain media or expressing your opinion here.

c'mon now. There are people dead and injured we should be concerned about, don't you think?
