I have been thinking back to the Dr's testimony the other day, after all this talk about her going away to Vegas or Disney paid for by the "dr" .....I am still very surprised that neither Millard nor Dungey cross examined him. I have a question, can they call him back to the stand later on, or is he done done now? Second does it bother anyone else that this man is a "well respected" behavioral pediatrician......http://www.kidsclinic.ca/about-team.html

There is nothing to suggest the Dr who testified is the Dr she said she was going with. Let's not hang him out to dry yet. He said he didn't sleep with her, he met her at a bar with her friend.

I would said DMs lack of questions towards that Dr regarding a trip spell it out, that he wasn't the one. DM could have if he was smart tried to spin that but he missed his chance.

I still think she said that to not alert her friends she was going away with DM because they likely would have not approved knowing he was with CN.

I find it extremely sad to be seeing Laura's last days played out. I just can't imagine, going from place to place with a dog in my arms and all my stuff and begging people to let me stay with them. Sigh...

Mental Health issues have some of the saddest stories attached. Many of us have stories of family or friends that are have had a marathon with this cruel disease.

I once had lunch with this older woman who told me one of the saddest stories about their teenage son who left home, and lived a horrible street life because his schizophrenia had not been diagnosed.

Okay , so you think she made it up that a dr. was taking her on a trip. I guess that is how DM lured her to his place to go on the trip. She was really happy about going on the trip and little did she know what plans DM had. Sadistic 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

It is possible DM planned her murder and told her he was leaving CN and taking LB on a trip anywhere she wanted to go. Perhaps he told her to tell her friends and family she was leaving on a trip with some anonymous Dr. to buy him some time before people start looking for her. That might explain why she dropped of her money and dog off at her parents house in preparation for the trip. DM probably told her to find somewhere to sleep in the days leading to the trip because he would tell her he didn't want CN to see her at his house and blow their cover.

And maybe the hay or straw that the policemen were dragging out in a tarp. Perhaps it was over, and under the body wrapped in a tarp. It is possible there were body fluids on that, even if very small traces. IMO
Will they be calling those people who were hired to remove that hay/straw, which was indicated by DM to be a fire hazard, from the barn?

I'll have to look at the photo again but it did look as if some of the hay was discoloured.

I had a thought about the house that she was being dropped off at, in todays testimony, ......let me find it. It was Jessica Trevors testimony. I was wondering if it was actually their home or if it was Millards? I'll look for the details and see if I am able to post my thoughts.....depending on if that info is MSM or not...

I read LB went into the backyard for a key.
I thought her parents said they had the locks changed. ???

I did not know Smich his phone records too , so he may have been there when DM killed Laura. He was part of it again .

In regards to the board, I thought it odd that an LE Officer would just carry evidence unwrapped, just over his shoulder.
It looked like a paper grocery bag over one end. Not the usual way they handle evidence.

Smich's phone was strange arrangement during the last trial. Many times he used his GF's, and other times he used "his" IPad when WIFI was available.

I wonder if he had his own phone before he obtained LB's IPad?

I can't believe that our legal system allows a narcissistic psychopath murderer such a public forum - he is totally getting off on this! It's disgusting!

This is a very nice area. It's not really close to Maplegate. You certainly wouldn't walk it.

Maplegate, which is in Markland Woods (New Money) is about as far west as you can go and still be in Toronto (Etobicoke). The Etobicoke Creek runs behind Maplegate and separates Toronto from Mississauga.

The area where the Babcock's live (lived) is the older part of Etobicoke (Old Money), a little north and on the eastern side, maybe middle of Etobicoke.

Hmmmmmm. I wonder if MS is stupid enough to cal a creek a lake? Noooooooo

Very disrespectful for him to question witnesses.

(bbm) Was this location clarified? Why would LB be dropped there? A cabbie would have been given an address. Any speculation/information? And why no date given?

Which reporter has the facts here? :dunno:

Back at Millard and Smich murder trial , witness Jessica Trevors. Millard is about to cross examine her. Trevors met Babcock in a park.

Some posted up thread about someone with pink or red hair IIRC. Was it Trevors perhaps?

Millard: Afternoon Ms Trevors
Trevors: Goodafternoon.
Millard: Question about color , your hair is spectacular magenta?
Trevors: Red

Millard:Babcock had been dropped off in a park w all her stuff, and you invited her to stay the night.
Trevors: Yes, I gave her option

Shannon Martin‏ @ShannonMartinTV 7h7 hours ago
She was outside on her front step, and saw a girl get out of a cab with a little white dog and a pile of luggage.

Shannon Martin‏ @ShannonMartinTV 7h7 hours ago
Trevors approached the girl - who turned out to be Laura Babcock - after ten or 15 minutes, and Babcock told her she had no place to stay.

Keep fingers crossed that there is *something*... we don't know if there may have been LB's blood under the lip of the 'exterminator' just like there was for TB? Or remnants of a mattress being burned in the farm fire pit.. fingerprints?? phone data.. supposed to be still weeks of evidence to come, although it seems like slim pickins right now! jmo

Article from TB case did say, "Shown a photo of the inside of The Eliminator taken by police during their examination, Cook testified it looked like it had been used more than once — which Millard’s lawyer Ravin Pillay quickly objected to." I think the sweetest act of humanity and normality all in the midst of a murder trial was today when LB's parents handed out Halloween candy to the Crown attorneys and the court officers as they re-entered the room after the morning break.

It was such a human, simple act for a family going through so much right now.

Didn't her dad say on the stand that, while they had changed the locks, they also made Laura privy to the location of the new spare key?
Will try to find tweet. Brb.

That's exactly what he said. Further, I believe Laura dropped off the dog and the money when they weren't home.
