Sure but the judge had to clarify to the jury that the ipad was Laura's. I would hope the Crown would have made that perfectly clear since it is a major piece of evidence.

I still have no clarity on just what the jury has been told about that IPad with regards to ownership. I think it's very important to establish that SL LOANED the IPad to LB so that she could use it to look for an apartment. Shannon Martin has reported, more than once, that it was Laura's IPad that SL gave to her.

It's important because if the jury believes that SL gave her the IPad to keep, then it was also hers to sell. If she knew she had to return it, that's just one more reason why MS should not have been in possession of it.

The photos taken in the first search in May showed the red bag on top of the mattress.

and MS was arrested that day so couldn't do something about it:

Good point. Maybe someone who was in court can clarify what was stated to the jury about the ownership of the ipad.

I know I am hearing people complain too about the pace. They are ahead in this trial. They are moving at a good pace. Another thing people keep asking for photos of MS and DM, I don't want to see any. The more things that we find out the more it makes me mad that no investigation was done about Laura s disappearance until Tim Bosma was killed. I don't know how they would have found out about MS before the Tim Bosma trial but they should have at least tried to investigate her disappearance.

And while we didn't hear about it yet, I'm sure his attorney will twist that to his advantage. He had LB's bag and the IPad right there out in the open all that time because he got them from DM and he had NO IDEA that LB might be deceased.
