Again conversation between #Millard and Shaner July 7, 2012. I started advertising the incinerator thinking it would take awhile to get work for it. 2 jobs available in Barrie Wed aft. If you have Mark & I full days Monday & Tues could we be ready? Depends on steel supply.

SS said DM told him it was for his garbage. DM's uncle said he never spoke to DM about cremations.

So, what was advertized, and what jobs did he have lined up?

SS is caught in a blatant lie! MOO

I thought yesterday's testimony was hard to come to terms with. Today is even worse. The criptic words they all use in their texts is very disturbing...my thoughts are with her family today! This has got to be horrifying for them to sit through!

Now seeing messages between Millard and Shaner on July 9. Talking about generators that are on sale, and an appointment with a "propane guy."
by Adam Carter 11:06 AM

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 45s45 seconds ago
Later Shaner has a meeting with propane guy in Kitchener & sent #Millard a bill for the remaining cost of incinerator. #LauraBabcock

"You said enough for 1 burn. You want 2 burns on board?" Shaner sends. Millard responds "yup, although nothing I'm targeting now needs it. I would like the trailer to be ready for two full burns."
by Adam Carter 11:08 AM

Now they're talking more about propane tanks. Shaner says they will have enough for eight hours, or "2 full burns."
by Adam Carter 11:09 AM

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 2m2 minutes ago
Itwould take 40 gallons of propane to burn five hundred pounds, Shane divulges. #Millard wants trailer ready for 2 full burns.

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 27s27 seconds ago
July 10, 2012, one day after, #Millard and Shaner still talking about propane tanks. Maybe they should rent. The 90-gal tank is "super huge" and if there's a problem you get a replacement. Each tank will go two hours. 125 pounds burned an hour.

Okay, we're getting conflicting info now. Must be so hard for these two to keep up.

I think it's safe to assume LH mistyped since MS would still be using his phone not the iPad still for texting to MM, or anyone else. JMO

SS is caught in a blatant lie! MOO

Or DM lied to SS about why he needed an incinerator..

Who knows. I'm trying to keep my eye on the bigger story, but these details will be interesting to figure out once the texts are released as exhibits.

It seems clear that he gave a story to SS to explain why the incinerator would be gone for a while. We know there were no jobs or intent for the incinerator and DM wouldn't have done the grunt work of advertising anyway. He would have had someone else do that for him. There was never going to be any jobs aside from his own.

A message now from Smich to Millard on July 11, around 8 a.m. Millard says "gonna try to scoop you b4 9 am." Smich responds that he's packing up his "s--t."
by Adam Carter 11:11 AM

Now we're seeing a photo of Smich cutting something with a saw. Sparks are flying. It was taken at 4:05 p.m. on July 11. It was taken at 251 Jetliner Court.
by Adam Carter 11:12 AM

Now a photo of a woman, leaning over a Cadillac. Taken at the same location, around the same time. Another photo of a man welding something with a welding mask on.

Millard in court, he's looking at photos on his computer from the evidence reports while his txts from 2012 are being read from his iPhone.

Now a photo that appears to be #Smich with a large power saw cutting steel. Taken at the Waterloo airport July 11, 2012 at 4:05pm.

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 1m1 minute ago
Another picture of #Smich from a different angle with the big saw. Sparks flying. He's wearing a basketball tank and shorts.

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 1m1 minute ago
Another photo shows #Smich girlfriend Marlena at 4:44 at the airport, looking over an old car. Another photo shows someone welding, face covered.

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 38s38 seconds ago
The welder is not wearing the same thing as #Smich. Seems to be working on a large steel frame. All photos taken at Waterloo airport hangar.

Now back to texts between Shaner and Millard on July 16. Millard is asking how propane fitting is coming.
by Adam Carter 11:14 AM

Or DM lied to SS about why he needed an incinerator..

I don't believe it to be that way. SS said it was to burn DM's property(s) garbage. This shows that it was for more than that.

He advertized
He already had jobs lined up

Both of which SS knew according to these texts. IMO

  • #94
Or DM lied to SS about why he needed an incinerator..

Yes, this is the first time I'm thinking that SS really was out of the loop about what this thing was for, at least at first. Whatever he was told, garbage, animal cremation, this text is a blatant lie to get him to speed up the assembly of the Eliminator.

MOO

On July 17, Millard to Shaner: "Any good news on incinerator?" Shaner responds: "Nothing yet."
by Adam Carter 11:15 AM

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 32s32 seconds ago
Back to text messages. Between Shaner and #Millard. How's that propane thing coming? Tim from Supernova will call me around lunch. What's the solution? Not sure. Tim is calling burner manufacturer.

Now Shaner sending a message to Millard later that day, talking about a gas line being too small.

I believe DM is advertising for a welder to build him a trailer for the incinerator.

Now this is a sent iMessage from Millard's phone, but I'm not sure who it was sent to. "I just got in, haven't slept in 2 days. Got lots a loot though! Scooped you a little present along the way. Gonna play a game and pass out. What you up to, or do I even want to know?"
by Adam Carter 10:58 AM

Now seeing messages between Millard and Shaner about the arrival and testing of "The Eliminator," which is an incinerator.
by Adam Carter 10:59 AM

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 21s21 seconds ago
Next tab is "arrival, prep and testing of eliminator." Texts between #Millard and his mechanic "Shaner. " "It's here!" and a photo of something big in an airplane hangar.
Going to play a game. Didn't someone comment how they were shocked DM was signed into Steam during all of this?

Ironically, SS was doing most of his computer work at that time.

Shane was told homemade incinerator was for garbage, but by the time commercial incinerator was ordered the intention had shifted to cremate pets as a business enterprise. That was SS testimony at TB trial.

Now another photo. Appears to be a picture of the gas hookup to the incinerator. Also taken at the Jetliner Crescent address.
by Adam Carter 11:17 AM

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 60s60 seconds ago
July 17 still trying to get the incinerator going. "Gas line is too small. Minimum is 1/2 inch all the way, 3/4 recommended." Pic on July 17 shows piece of equipment and a gas line.

Now seeing a photo of what looks like a control panel for the incinerator.
by Adam Carter 11:18 AM

Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews 18s18 seconds ago
Another pic shows a hand holding the gas line, apparently showing it too small. Next photo shows an electrical box, then a shot from above. Dog in picture. #Millard
