Trehearne is trying to establish that there's a shadow, or separate depression on what looks like the bone. That might influence its identification.
by Adam Carter 11:54 AM

"You're telling the jury doctor rogers .. that despite the pixelation, the poor lighting, the poor resolution, you can distinguish that oval ... between the dark area slightly to the left and above it?" Trehearne says. "I'm saying I don't agree that it looks like a hole or circle in those areas," Rogers says.

From the videos...

June 30th, 2012 DM texted "You around later tonight? Want to play a ball."
and July 1st DM texted "You around tonight? Want to meet up?"

The number he texted is 1-647-704-4360. Have we seen this one before?
I’m trying to figure out who he's texting. Laura?

I think it was said in court that there were no texts between DM and LB in the last few months of her life.

Trehearne asks if she also compared the bone in this photo to other deer bones except for a deer humerus. She says no she didn't because the humerus is very distinct.

Trehearne is now finished her cross.

MS texted DM about leaving MM out front while they are out back talking to that girl if you know what I mean.
MS made a RAP song about burning a girl, not a Doe Ray Me tune.

They didn't have one picture of a deer, and I'm sure they would have if they did. MOO

Interesting point about no photos of any deer at all, and they seem to have taken lots of photos of other things..

I love how the lawyers aren't even disputing that what they are seeing are even BONES in the incinerator. They are only arguing that they might not be human bones. Human bones look human even if they are warped. Deer bones look nothing like our bones.

The Crown is now reexamining Dr. Rogers.
by Adam Carter 11:59 AM

We're now seeing the original photo of what Rogers says looks like bones in the incinerator, along with the grid. Crown Jill Cameron is now pointing out some specific points on the grid.

Cameron is asking specific questions about the tips of the bones, which is one of the identifying factors used in identifying bones.
by Adam Carter 12:03 PM

The Crown now saying she's done with her re-examination.

Once the Crown has concluded all of their witnesses, the defense has the opportunity to call their own specialist to refute Dr. Rogers' testimony, is that correct?

From video #10… SS was working on the Yukon the week of July 4th. He told DM he would have to keep driving the Olds until he was done. DM told him he would take it on Friday (the 6th). The picture of the rolled up tarp was at the farm was taken on July 4th. That is NOT the Yukon in the photo. It's also not an Olds, so I would say it is WM's van for sure. He also would have picked Laura up in a vehicle he didn't normally use.

Also noted he told SS bbq was priority after Yukon. On his drive back from the farm MS is just waking up and DM asked if MS and MM wanted drinks, (so MM was there all day? Overnight?) He also texted MS to get his passport papers ready to fill out.

He texted Isho too at 6:45 pm. "any word? I didn't sleep last night, can feel the crash coming." Isho told him no worries one will come through soon. DM was still looking for a gun?

From the The Mob Reporter, MS asked "Hows The Spliff" almost 5 hours after DM texted he rolled one. And right after he dropped off the rolled up tarp.

We're now getting an agreed statement of facts for the jury. The parties agree that during the search of the Eliminator, Sgt. Annette Huys found five small objects she calls "grommets."
by Adam Carter 12:33 PM

We're now seeing photos of them. They're circular, about 3 cm by 3 cm, look like steel. They appear to be a metal piece you'd have at the bottom of a tarp if you wanted to tie it to something.
