What? I thought there would be more MS evidence... So far I don't see enough for a M1 conviction. MOO

For Millard there certainly is.

Did they find something in the Yukon? WTH? We've just been left hanging.

There's potential for at least 5 more days of witnesses.. I'm hoping they've saved the best for last..

I'm so sorry I can't post tweets or from the blog anymore today. I have a really busy time happening here and can just check in once in a while now. Can any one help out?

One thing I thought potentially relevant was DM’s history as a very young pilot. A certain suppression of an instinctive and developmentally appropriate fear would be required. Normal for parents to want to give their kids opportunity and success, but in hindsight not a good development point for a person who may already have inclined to the suppressed fear response typical of psychopaths. Also may have fed the thrill seeking. Where to go for that sort of thing when you’ve already flown aircraft solo on the first day you are 14?

I think this is an excellent and relevant point. Pleasing parents over anything DM felt.

He's a Toronto police officer, a job he's held for more than 20 years.

Crown Cameron says Det. Jansz is an expert in analysis and interpretation in codified language and urban street language.

Jansz says urban street language is "words or phrases that have been combined or the creation of new words."

Codified language is "similar to street language. The difference is that it's codified, something done consciously to prevent the comprehension of the public and law enforcement."

Codified language is "similar to street language. The difference is that it's codified, something done consciously to prevent the comprehension of the public and law enforcement."

He says he got the expertise by reading research papers and books written on the topic, attending conferences and watching documentaries.

Urban street language he says has now found its way into the dictionary, it's become very common.

Codified language he repeats is used to avoid detection.

Crown now gets to his connection to the case.

Det. Jansz studied a number of text messages exchanged between Millard and Smich and a man identified as Iisho.

Cameron pulls up a number of texts onto the large flat screens in the courtroom.

Mark Smich's number is saved as Say10, the other phone is Dell's iPhone.

Millard: I can't arrange a time to talk to him face to face if i can't call at all.

Smich: "this is ****ing frustrating"

Millard: "no I will arrange it. you aint gotta do **** except tell me when you can chill"

Smich: "tell him i want to talk about tools."

Det. Jansz says "tools" refers to firearms.

I am guessing here......has any evidence from Yukon been disallowed because he was pulled over for TB?

Be interesting to see "what the jury didn't see" after all is said and done.

As a man with a vet degree, he has wisdom and insight. He seems to have known DM was unstable. IMO

With the anger Mr Burns has for DM, I almost wonder if he was caught or tried something with Burns’ daughter. As we all know, DM has no respect for women and has a sex problem. Not sure why else he’d hate his own newphew so much.

MOO

Now the Crown is tying MS in as being a party to the offence.

As I said before, I feel sorry for everyone involved in this. Millards reign of terror is over and he's going to spend his life regretting what he's done. MM on the other hand hasn't even received a slap on the wrist. She found out that her BF was responsible for one of the most heinous murders this area has ever seen and her response was "I'm gonna marry this guy". There is a difference reflecting on a 🤬🤬🤬 that is locked away for life and a 🤬🤬🤬 that is out here among us.

I’d have to respectfully disagree with you on this. She was a vulnerable, manipulated young girl with zero knowledge or any murders when she said she wanted to marry MS.

During the time leading up to the TB trial after his arrest, many realizations where made on her part. She then bravely testified to everything she knew, throwing them both under the bus. She didn’t seem to hold a thing back, even admitting to her own drug use and personal issues, not caring how it made her look. That’s what you do as a good witness who wants justice.

She’ll do the same again, and that’s why I respect her.

Another from July 1, and 2 2012.

Isho: ."32 but its a really nice nice compact piece im sure ud like it"
Then writes: 7:30.

Millard: "ok its here wanna get her out lol Paranoid my girls gonna come home"

Det. Jansz says a .32 is a 32-calibre fire arm. He adds "really nice nice compact piece" is a reference to a firearm.

Det. Jansz says "wanna get HER out lol" the her refers to a firearm.

"Keep it on the low" means, he says, not to tell anyone.
