#LauraBabcock just had to get her life straightened out before she could talk to #Millard again, which was actually a helpful suggestion in her best interests, he tells jury.

"if you could keep updated on where Laura goes out to. Thatd be of use to me," Text from Millard to Michalski. But #LauraBabcock had a crush on him, so he would have been able to meet her any time, any where, "she's ready and willing."

Ahahahahahaha.

Wouldn't her friends have stated that LB had another phone number then? Omgosh, my apologies folks. I gotta laugh every now and then.

I would honestly like to link that LB would have continued conversing with these friends....if she had a new phone and number! That what I’d think if I were the jury listening to this load of horse crap!

For him to ask Michalski to watch for #LauraBabcock, was it because he wanted to find her, or avoid her? "that's the inference I'm asking you to make. This message is about avoiding running into Laura unexpectedly."

Millard now shows the court a black and pink winter glove that was found at his farm. He first brought up the photo during his cross-examination of Marlena Meneses, it was her glove.

He asked her if she ever fired the gun, she said no but then later agreed she had.

"She did try to lie to you, then she reversed her decision."

Millard tells the jury that's when the gun was first used.
by Shannon Martin 11:26 AM

Yeah, unlike DM she backtracked on her lie! What is his point?

Laura was telling lots of people about her perceived personality disorders, Millard reminds jury before he reads the message he wrote to her. "you can cry and whine about your malformations, or you can be appreciative you have 5 fingers and 5 toes.... you are harmful to me."

"Good luck with life, don't contact me," #Millard tells #LauraBabcock at height of tension between Babcock and Noudga. "How harsh is this? Is this really that mean? Is this a direct order to never talk to me again in life?" No, he's just saying leave me alone for awhile.

BBM...so I killed you. MOO

Ah yes, now I remember, she was the girl with only one hand and one foot. 🙄

"You'll remember the evidence we got from Andrew. He lost his phone, Laura found it, and she returned it to him." Millard tells jury he figured out how to help Michalski identify his phone. #LauraBabcock

Millard would have known you can't change serial numbers. "consciousness of innocence," Millard calls it. If he knew #LauraBabcock had been murdered, why would he keep the iPad around, knowing that the serial number would be on the iPad. Is it proof of guilt... or innocence?

Why would you have a blood filled truck in your hangar? Oh wait...that was a different murder. Carry on.

And the truck key on his key ring

I'm generally a fairly serious, introverted person, and I confess that I could not refrain from laughing out loud... but now, in the quiet of this moment, I feel bad for laughing. Still .. what other emotional response is appropriate for DM's ridiculous address to the jury??!

This case has to be a prime example of why nobody should ever attempt to defend themselves at a murder trial.

A lawyer can get away with saying, "Look, my client's a slimeball, but he's not on trial for being a slimeball, he's on trial for murder and you must ignore the fact that he is distasteful and unpleasant and afford him the presumption of innocence to which we are all entitled," and it rings true.

On the other hand, coming directly from the slimeball himself, it just makes the jury dislike him even more.

Everyone is jumping on that "slip up" when Dell said after she died but we all know Dell meant "supposedly" died. Hell maybe he even said it exactly like that but the tweets didn't include it.

We are human, finding humor in this dire and sad situation is ok, and needed, so don't feel guilty.

Dell is probably hoping a fly will find its way to the courtroom and land on him. And he won't even swat it. Then the jury will see..

  • #157
Serial numbers aside, where is the explanation as to why he and MS had the IPad in their possession at all? Passed on that one, didn't he!

What will they see, that he is void of feeling, a true psychopath?

See that flies don't bother him because he's been around his fair share of corpses? :dunno:
