  • #221
I feel sick and anxious as well. Been watching twitter close this morning because I just had a feeling it would be today.

I wonder why they need time?

Maybe they want to compose themselves before coming in. I can't think of any other reason, if they have already reached a verdict.

Complete silence in the courtroom. Seems like a painfully long time as we wait for the jury.

Jury entering.

BREAKING: Dellen Millard and Mark Smich found guilty of first degre murder of Laura Babcock

Maybe the Jury is emotional as well. If we are feeling this way, just imagine how they are feeling. Maybe they wanted a few minutes to collect themselves.

I'm on pins and needles and feeling emotional like all of you, too. I can't remember which WS poster it was, whose sister visited him/her in a dream and text'd 11:59. But my gosh, it's so close to that time with the news of a verdict!

Babcock family members crying. They whispered “yes” as verdict was read. Millard looked towards them, shaking his head.

He has no shame or tact.

Jury being asked individually if they agree with verdict. Some are weeping. Having difficulty confirming verdict.

I am ecstatic for the Babcock family and friends.

:rose: Justice for Laura, finally. :rose:

That's such good news. The jury wasn't swayed by the MS "lay low and try and stay under the radar" tactic. They went through all the evidence and came up with the correct verdict.

Well Done - finally, Justice for Laura!
