LE serves search warrant on family home #3

There are a lot of people still here online.. Does anyone else know if those searches are still going on, if they moved someplace else, if they searched someplace else today as well while all the media was at the house, LE could have also been in another area? Seems when the feeds went off air that was the end of the story..

This was just posted on the Media thread (from NG's show) (bbm):

genertaional history of alcoholism and abandonment in Deborah's family (as per family member.)

Searchers digging up the yard tonight.

As I was "catching up" here reading, I noticed there were some questions about a "Garage Sale" ...

:innocent: I remember reading about a "garage sale" at the church from the Aliayah Lunsford case ... and Aliayah was at the garage sale ...

I don't recall it in this case ... could the info on the cases have gotten confused ?

Sorry to be O/T but wanted to point this out ... and Mods, you can move or edit if you have to ...

Thanks ..

I don't think 'they removed' 46 of them, I think they may have used several of them a total of 46 times. In other words, from what i have gathered, they seem to be some type of X-ray technology that the bomb squad uses to x-ray inside walls and solid objects. So they take the 'black thingie' into the home, place it flat against the wall and then remove and walk it to the bomb truck and who knows what---maybe unload the film or develop it or look at it, then return to the house and do the same thing again.

The 'x-ray' aspect intrigues me. Today's x-rays are taken on a plate, and then uploaded to a computer. A finished actual film x-ray is almost NEVER produced. (This allows a radiologist to view the image remotely on a monitor - those 'light boxes' you traditionally think of are virtually obsolete) X-ray cassettes, as they are known, are about 1/2 " thick, and the plate is sealed inside by a film-loading machine. It is not something you could do by hand.
So those black things - to me -do not have anything to do with x-rays. There would HAVE to be a truck with a "RADIATION" symbol on it - and a pretty hefty machine - as the image capturing component has lead shielding around it. Additionally, I saw no evidence of lead aprons - which would be mandatory for all involved to wear. Let me tell you - those puppies are HEAVY to wear and carry around.

I believe it was a clothing drive in the Aliayah Lunsford case. There were early reports in this case that the family had recently had a garage sale. Sorry, I don't remember where it was reported, so I don't have a link.

I have never called CPS on anyone, but I would much rather do so and find out I was mistaken than not do so and find out that I wasn't. :(

From what I've read, it takes a lot more for CPS to remove children from a home than just a call from someone. I have a friend who was yelling at his kids for fighting and breaking the family computer and the neighbors called CPS. CPS did visit, and interviewed the kids the parents and the neighbors, kept the case open for 30 days then closed it when there was no repeat. Sure, it was scary for the parents to feel under that microscope, but there was no evidence of abuse or neglect so CPS just monitored and then that was that.

FWIW- if I had garage sales, I'm positive I would have said yes too. I am that person who sells things on craigslist and has random handymen over to give an estimate without a second thought. And I'm positive on more than one of those occasions I mentioned my husband being out of the country. And when I was single I was never shy about saying I lived alone.

I don't have a pretty background, I know people are twisted...just most of the "bad" people I have run across weren't strangers, they were people I knew. So I'm rather trusting of the world at large.

Following this case, and thinking about all the what-ifs, I'm realizing that I need to step it up a notch.

In San Diego, my roommate let in our apartment the man she'd called (from a business) to jump start her car. I was shocked. And then I hear him opening and closing cabinets. Said he was looking for TP, yet it was out where it was supposed to be. Ech.

Dear God, I am so afraid for this baby.

At first, I thought she might be found but now... I don't think so.
Thank you frankie069. Seems like when the feeds went off the air that was it, just like you said.

I hope with all my heart she is somewhere being cared for but at this point I am finally ready to say I think she isn't with us anymore.

WTH happened and why won't someone just tell the truth?

Bless her precious little heart.

Kelly.

RE: The (possible) garage sale. Would this have been an individual sale at the Irwin home, or was it a multi-home/neighborhood event? How was it publicized? Local flier distribution? Local newspaper classified ad? Large distribution newspaper and/or internet? I'm just trying to "picture" the scope of the population that might have been attracted to a garage sale at the Irwin home.

Our HOA doesn't permit individual garage sales (Estate Sales with permission of Board), but there is a well-planned subdivision sale every other summer, usually in mid-July. Whoever chairs the event provides information for residents about how to have a successful garage sale that includes safety tips. We are advised to not allow anyone to enter our homes for any reason, keep doors/windows locked, keep cash hidden from customers, etc. These are common sense issues no matter where I lived. jmo

since mom (in da middle) is off for now, i guess i'll answer. this neighborhood isnt all that fancy. no hoa to speak of. sometimes the neighbors will plan together but it isnt a rule.

DB was VERY defensive when talking about being drunk. Trust me...girl was drunk.

Drunk enough to black out? Maybe. Or maybe not.

I thought the reason the "bomb squad" truck was there is because they have the equipment in the truck to read the pictures that were taken inside the house.

Agreed.

They took stuff out. I don't believe they'd be there all day if it was proving to be a waste of time.

IMO

"Taking stuff out" and that stuff, post analysis, having any probative value iare two different things.

is this from NG,b/c they digged earlier or is this new info.TIA

Did you see this at the top of my post? :)
This is what I was replying too.

I went back and did search for "Garage Sale" in the early threads on Baby Lisa ... and I canNOT find an MSM Link ...

However -- I found some "posts" early in this case about a GS but NO LINKS ...

:innocent: Now I know why these links are important ... :innocent:

Sorry to beat this deadhorse ... but I "think" there is some confusion with Aliayah's case and this one ...
