LE serves search warrant on family's home

I'm thinking maybe tomorrow, we should have a thread to compare some cases? Ya think? I do it could be interesting. :)

Great idea! Now, back to the attic. If I was an investigator on this case and I hear DB say something about her sons hearing clicking sounds, I'm gonna want to check it out. The easiest way to check it out is to talk to the sons but the parents refuse. So what would be the next step? Get into the house and see what could make the unfamiliar clicking noises. Go into the attic and see what is above those bedrooms. Could the phones be hidden under the insulation?

I thought the "cha ching" was a joke about the lawyer?:waitasec:

I just went back and read the post where cha-ching was stated. You're right... I didn't get the joke... :innocent:... I have a cough myself right now and keep taking Benadryl at night. Not thinking clearly.

So we're back to 'clicking'...

(ETA: I went back and changed my posts to remove "cha ching" - didn't want to spread erroneous info... ;))

The storm window being raised would make a clicking sound.

My laptop mouse clicks...............drives me crazy.

A lot of computers do. One desktop I had clicked really loud. Someone was on the computer is what I thought when I heard about the clicks.

If you had a body you needed to move, would you go online to try to find out what to do with it? LOL we know not to put the evidence on the computer. But not everyone knows how much info can be pulled from a computer. And many people wouldn't think about it in a panicked state.

What if the clicking noises were heard through the baby monitor by the boy in DB's bedroom? What would make a clicking sound in Lisa's nursery?

Man, I need pics of the nursery and a layout of this house!! (off to look)

How about a fan with something stuck in it or a dryer or washing maching.. maybe so drunk decided to do a load of laundry... with, well you know... horrible... please forgive my thoughts

A child-proof prescription bottle clicks multiple times when you open it. I try to remember to take my simvastatin before my husband goes to sleep. We have to get mail order Rxs now and the bottles we get now are pretty loud and out-of-the-ordinary noises when you're in bed.

A pill bottle clicking as it was opened is not something the boys would have been as familiar with as a fan, a keyboard, ... If it was the child sleeping with DB that heard the clicking noises, then I think a pill bottle.

Yes it was. Sorry...that's why the mods discourage the jokesters .... things get dicombobulated... (NOT a made up car part)

Clap on, clap off. Opening and closing the nozzle on a box of wine?

I was so hopeful this morning, that there would be news on Baby Lisa and her whereabouts today. Hopefully, tomorrow will bring some closure for this precious baby.

Yes - the washing machine/dryer! Something with metal/plastic on it - a snap, button, etc.

Remember LE was on top of the roof with metal detectors? Maybe the got a hit but DB wouldn't allow them to go in. Perhaps they were following up on other leads or needed a little more then a metal detector on a roof because anything could set that off.

I'm going to be up all night thinking of what makes clicking sounds.

A stapler? A staple gun? Hiding something in a wall and doing an 'emergency' fix with a staple gun? Wrapping something in plastic and stapling it closed?

My mind doesn't want to go there... :(

staple gun..........click click click
Recently recovered some patio chairs, click. YEP

Someone posted one waaaayyyyy back in the earlier threads.

"Yes - the washing machine/dryer! Something with metal/plastic on it - a snap, button, etc. "

or a vulnurable (sp?) little sleeping baby... god forbid...

The live stream update page I have been following on this case clicks each time a new comment is made. My computer was also making clicking noises at one time, errors...Again, I hope the LE has the computer.

Could someone walking on the roof sound like clicking? (my Benadryl late-night brain is now singing 'Up on the housetop - click, click, click')

So does their house have a basement or not?

Lera you asked this way back there <---- but I haven't gotten past way back there yet in reading so I just will put this up.

The back of the N. Lister home.

You will see what I believe to be a two car garage under the house all the way to the right of the picture. Then between the deck and those garage doors you see a glass sliding door that looks like it might be that there is a basement with a portion that is a walkout? Dunno? HTH.
