LE statement on the case to be released

Why would she think this though about JI? We have no back story on their relationship, if there was trust issues between them. Unless he's slipped up to her after the fact, according to her he was at work.

As far as JI is concerned, why can't it be that DB made a horrible mistake in his eyes (drinking). He may have been angry with her, but that doesn't mean he would think she did something to BL. I have no idea about their relationship, neither does anyone else and to assume how one would react to the other in this situation is simply guessing.

Well, I did say, "personally, for me". It is quite possible and even probable that these people don't think anything like I do.
As far as I'm concerned, all bets are off if you're revealed to be a drunken, irresponsible caregiver.

Personally, for me, trust would fly out of the door the minute I found out that the person I trusted to take care of my precious baby got so drunk s/he can't even remember if the baby was seen all night i.e broke my trust. No reason to trust someone who can't be trusted.

She was asleep or passed out when JI came home so he could have done who knows what and she wouldn't have been any wiser.[/QUOTE

Exactly, I would feel the same way and DB would be out on her azz![/B]

...which is another strange development. Parents tend to blame each other and many marriages don't survive the ordeal. These two aren't even married and are tied at the hip. I am sure this has been considered by profilers who have seen what happens to couples. Considering there personality, that even makes their behavior more than strange.

Not once have these two blamed each other. If I were Jeremy and things went down as DB said, she may wish for protection because I know I would be very very angry that she was drunk and lost my child. She would be in a world of hurt and I would be telling LE, "Arrest her before I kill her".

What does he do? Stand beside her and protect her. ODD and not normal behavior for the best of emotionally stable couples.

Good call, I didn't think of that but now that you brought it up, there's another reason they aren't battling each other and that could be because they are possibly both guilty of something. Sounds like a barter is going on in the background.

Bradley said Thursday the couple doesn't intend to do network television shows next week to talk about the case.

uh, whatever happened to... ??

Did the neighbor that spent the evening with her ever submit to a polygraph?

I really wonder if she did see Baby Lisa that evening at all, as well.

If you ask me I think LE is lying. Trying to put pressure on her because I believe they have nothing on her and want to make her look guilty. I think she had nothing to do with this. I don't have that feeling all the time but I do here.
I think LE is just lost with this case, I think they bungled some things at the beginning and are now stuck with nothing. I think this baby is alive somewhere.

One of the great mysteries of this entire case. We only know of what SB saw via the lawyers. SB has never said anything to the public. According to Ron Rugen, he seemed to indicate that both DB and SB were in contact with each other at least for some time after BL had gone missing (as in being friends) IMO outside of DB she's the most vital witness because she was actually with DB for an extended period of time. She's the one that can testify to how drunk (if any) DB was, she can testify to her demeanor, she can testify to if and when she saw BL at any point that evening. Now, she has told a ton of stuff to LE, I actually would be pretty shocked if she didn't take an LDT.

She also was outside after DB allegedly went back in the house. She can testify to what she saw/heard not just with the house itself, but the general area.

BBM:

:seeya: I sure would like to know the results if she did ... the neighbor has never said a word :silenced:

:waitasec: Now, IF your next door neighbor's baby was "kidnapped" by an "intruder", wouldn't you say "something" -- "anything" ?

Wouldn't you be "frightened" by this ?

:waitasec: JMO, but strange ...

:moo:

Does anyone have the link handy discussing SB seeing Lisa? I don't remember reading that, I thought the attorneys said that SBs 4 y/o saw her, but I don't remember anything about SB seeing her. I'm off to search.

Yeah, but that's one of those "anonymous source" timelines.

We don't really know what or if SB saw anything.

I knew the sightings by SBs daughter came from the attorney, but I didn't even know that SB had allegedly seen Lisa as well.

I also find it odd that SB stayed at the Irwin's while DB and PN went on the wine run.

Sorry, but what is the statement from LE? Has it been given yet? TIA

I've wondered all along if they wanted to give SB a lie detector test and she declined.

yw :) ... it was a nice find for me in that it provided some insight into how LE felt about things that the DT accused them of seeing as how tight lipped SY and the KCMOPD have been.

i'm rethinking JI too... but from the opposite angle. if he was so quick to believe his parents might've been responsible for taking lisa and later suggested what he did about the cheating person, i wonder if he truly knew what happened to lisa. does anyone believe it's possible he didn't know anything til later on and was just trying to brainstorm all the possibiblities of who would take his baby girl? but then again, what deann stated about starbucks nullifies this imo...

Can you tell me what she said-I missed that-TIA Red

Police and their FBI partners have investigated 1,667 tips since 10-month-old Lisa went missing from her home in the 3600 block of North Lister in the early morning hours of Oct. 4, 2011.

speaking of tips: just came across an article from december... this poor family! i hope they still aren't being harassed everywhere they go...

(lucy, imo, does not resemble lisa in the slightest)

I know this is very far reaching, and I have posted this before, but what if JI found out Baby Lisa was not his daughter. Remember what he said about cheaters? If this were the case, I think he would have gotten rid of the child, but I don't think he would have killed her. He would have arranged for her to go to someone else.

Go ahead, throw tomatos! :seeya:

This is "wild speculation" and is NOT allowed. There is NO evidence of this at all. JI has a pretty good alibi so if you want to go down this road, you need to link it to something factual.
