Bolding mine.In all fairness to LA, I've already heard at least one criminal lawyer/pundit on tv arguing that items from the A home being found at the scene of the remains doesn't necessarily doom Casey, since her brother might have done it. It isn't impossible that Casey's team could raise reasonable doubt by claiming something like that, all the while not expecting he'd actually get charged or anything (well, other than humiliated, etc.). Reasonable doubt. Does the attorney do civil work? Maybe LA wants to sue people for slander and libel.
Oh good grief I can see how that could happen! This has the potential to get even uglier and I'm seeing more and more why he may have gotten a lawyer.
