Saying she thinks Tommy is involved in Haleigh's disappearance. How many of you guys think that is true also?

Just reading the thread and had to respond( still on page one so if I am behind on news I apologize) I have always believed that TC is up to his eyeballs in Haleigh's disappearance and after he completely dries out( I think this is part of the problem getting answers in this case, they have all been on drugs so long they are out of touch with their real emotions and feelings and have no problem lying about a 5, now 6 year old little girl)

To be honest I haven't really allowed my brain to try and connect the dots between a human trafficking theory and Haleigh missing because I always truly believed that Haleigh was taken by a child sex predator. However, after hearing the show this evening i really must delve deeper into the theory.

It would certainly explain the lack of emotion and care over Haleigh being gone by certain parties, Misty and the Croslins for one. Perhaps Tommy is less concerned about her welfare because she was sold and believes her to be safe and better off. I have always believed that someone from 116 Tyler took Haleigh out of the trailer that night due to the bloodhounds trail, perhaps Haleigh was taken out by boat or train from the trailer... Opportunity, Motive, TC seems to have both(imo) and his visit with the boys earlier in the day when Haleigh went missing might have very well been to set the stage for his activity that evening. Setting the stage by giving Misty something to help her sleep through the peeps who went in to grab Haleigh, possibly Junior too but he woke up....thoughts....hmmm. Time to go brainstorm.

Anyone know why Timothy Croslin( now in MA) spent time in Federal Prison in Virginia years ago? Please anyone who has sleuthed this or might be able to tell me how to sleuth it....I would appreciate it so much.

I overheard him speak about prison in VA on one of the tapes. TIA!

I agree with LP that Misty is more afraid of the people out of jail then she is LE ...

Absolutely. I don't really think she's so much witholding info anymore out of a sense of love? loyalty? self preservation? as she is out of fear when it probably started out that way.

The more I think about it, the more I believe a dead Haleigh was put in the dumpster <after some sort of terrible accident related to drugs>, then removed to another location. The Ronald death threats are keeping his accomplices in line, and the drugs were rewarding them for silence.


IMO, Lenny is way off the mark in his theories.

Melinda didn't have to answer questions to Nancy... Nancy was not the prosecutor in the case. She should have backed off. I agree that she didn't kill Melinda and maybe Melinda would have killed herself eventually anyway but that's not much comfort to her family, and it sure did put a halt on finding Trention, didn't it? Melinda might have eventually broke and admitted what she did with him, but good old Nancy just pushed her over the edge. Nancy might not have pulled the trigger but figuratively speaking she handed her the gun and the bullets. She had no business pushing her for answers... that wasn't her job! MOO, of course!

But that is what sets Nancy apart from softball journalists, she isn't afraid to get to the bottom. The questions were simple -- For an innocent person to answer. She asked the same questions of Joshua Duckett and he easily answered the questions.

Very sorry to hear that. I don't comment there myself but I do read. An ignore feature works well. : )

I have found that there are those who want answers and there are those that want only drama. As one who wants answers, I sure do thank you.

She knew Melinda was a troubled young lady... and that attitude was the wrong way to get answers. I wouldn't have answered her either!! And that pitbull attitude of hers is what sets her apart from other journalists.
She can ask the hard questions, but ask them in a straightforward manner, and if they don't answer.... give up. She's not in a courtroom!

She didn't become a "pitbull" until Melinda became evasive. She didn't start the show attacking Melinda, she became suspicious as the interview progressed. When Melinda first came on, Nancy was soft spoken and polite to her.

Nancy is not a psychiatrist, she cannot evalutate her guests before they come on the show.
