Is Voice stress the same as Layered Voice Analysis?
No, they are different techniques.
Layered Voice Analysis (LVA) is claimed by Nemesysco to give an understanding of a subject's mental and emotional state by detecting the "emotional content" of his or her speech when answering questions. LVA is said to identify stress levels, cognitive processes, and emotional reactions. Nemesysco say that it is not a voice stress analysis technology, and instead uses their own unique patented technology to detect "brain activity traces" in a subject's voice via a wide spectrum analysis.

VSA is distinct from Layered Voice Analysis (LVA). LVA is used to measure many different components of the voice, but is not reliable in the detection of 'deceptive stress'. LVA measures a wide range of emotions, including excitement, confusion, attention and more. LVA is available in many different forms of products, ranging from server based intelligence use systems, to hand-held devices and standard PC software. The Sense Technology [16], the consumer version of the LVA technology, is available in different products and produces non-useful readings such as 'love' and 'Embarrassment' (not relevant in DOD applications).
DOD=detection of deception

Good show. Took a while but the panel seems to have it as figured out as many of us do. Look at RC!!!!!!!!!...a lot harder.

Key inference for me: When he's not looking for the killer, he already knows who it is.

Couldn't get WS to load during show. Hope I was able to get to some of the questions.!

I called Flora, the woman who answered said Flora would call back, but I never got a call back.

I'll call again on Monday and if she is willing, I can do a one on one show with her sometime this week to talk about this case if she is willing.

Night everyone!

Levi, what do you think about the outside chance that Misty could have met Ronald near his job to continue the discussion (fight) they had at 830pm? Let's say Misty gathered up the kids, blankets and all,(it was cold that night) and something happened to Haleigh, and she was disposed of (wrapped in the blanket) without her ever returning to the MH? This could be the reason a sheet had to be taken down from the window and placed on Haleigh's bed. If there is no evidence that Haleigh was killed in the MH this could be the reason.

Levi playing M tape:
MC: ron used me as babysitter; when H gone missing, they wanted me to leave.
why was R tryin to kill himself; shooting up in arm; how come he didn't answer t phone when i called him that night, and when i opened t door - he was there?
they don't look at him>they just want to look at me

You know I've read those words several times now, and it makes me wonder:waitasec: was she takin a back because she just got back home and was so totally flustered and shocked to see him standing there? Kinda like caught with her fingers in the ............(fill in the blanks) cookie jar? Or just out of it? Or trying to fill in the blanks for LE? This is several versions later right?
Just another hinky moment for me.

Seriously. If Joe and Tommy took Haleigh, what difference does it make if Ron was standing at the door when she opened it? She should've been relieved to see him.

My bold above

I listened to Levi's show last night and was caught by the same speech. Sounds like she's casting RC in the mobile home that night, and saying he was suicidal? When Haleigh went missing, they wanted Misty to leave? Cover up in process? "I opened the door, he was there." Was he inside? Already in the MH? Was he outside? Just arriving to the MH?

We know she's told numerous stories, most were rehearsed, and others were to cover up for mistakes in prior statements. So what is there different about this one, other than the obvious, her usual attempts to avoid the truth? Was this spontaneous? Something blurted out in frustration? Or was it calculated to point the finger in Ronald's direction?

If it's a spontaneous, frustrated remark, there could be more truth in it than we've heard since Day One. I'm not willing to overlook this just yet. I want to know where RC was that night. Every second of that night.

Great show, Levi. I'll probably listen to it again later, there's something I want to recheck.

If Misty was inside, I wonder why she'd open the door to see Ron outside, and be surprised.

I agree...........there's something to this. I think it DOES mean Misty wasn't there the whole night; perhaps having left the children home sleeping "for awhile" and came back to find Ron there, and Ron informed her that Haleigh was gone and made her make that 911 call as punishment; a "you left her, you make the call" retaliation. "How'd you let my daughter get stole, b!t@h" suddenly fits in context, along with him calling her his "dumb b!t@h girlfriend".....

Now, if only we knew how long she was gone, and how long HE was home, before she returned.

That's a good thought Deb, but what time was it that RC was video taped at the Kangaroo buying beer, peanuts and cigs? Another question would be why would RC cover for Misty instead of throwing her under the bus right then and there and tell LE he that he came home from work and she wasn't there and Haleigh was gone?
