I am not so sure she is an addict per se. It was reported that she did not show any signs of withdrawal while incarcerated. I think she just doesn't give a _______ (insert word of choice here). She has always done what she wants to do and never been held responsible for what happens.
I think she needs to just grow up and just learn boundaries. This was a lesson that was never taken seriously by anybody around her, nor has she had anybody that really seemed to care about what was best for her.
she didn't show any signs of withdrawal while incarcerated because she was allowed to continue to use/abuse prescription pills the whole time (under a doctor's care). The jail did not want the liability of dealing with potential phsycial withdrawals and so they dispensed her prescriptions to her in order to help her maintain.
But I agree with your other points about her spoiled attitude and never having had to give a _____ or be responsible for her actions.
