From all the comments I've read by our esteemed verified attorneys here, grand jury testimony is sealed and cannot be released, even for perjury charges.
I haven't read through this thread but wanted to jump in here and say that I am 99.99% sure that portions can be "unsealed" and used for the purpose of impeaching a witness.
However, I can't see how Lippman's motion would relate re. impeachment because he would certainly not want his own client to be impeached.
