The autopsy report has me asking if the duct tape belonged to Amy or was the duct tape from the A's home? What date did Amy say kC used the tape. Do I need to forget about a timeline from the date of borrowed duct tape to the date of Caylee's murder? Also does this coinside with the week of Amy possibly being chlorophormed?
I think the duct tape is the same thing as gaffe tape. And KC borrowed it for the 'anything but clothes' party, Memorial Day weekend, 2008. Timeline wise, that was just a couple of weeks before Caylee was last seen. I don't know when the Amy's missing cash thing was, but it could have been the same time frame. Wasn't that money being saved for her Puerto Rico trip?
Here is info on both types of tape:
Gaffers tape is a matte finish vinyl coated cloth tape used for a myriad of applications in many industries such as entertainment (theater, movie, music/DJ) and hospitality (hotel/event planner/convention center/wedding).
A few sample applications include lighting/sound crew work, set construction/wardrobe, general purpose floor marking and cable hold down, bookbinding, bus seat repairs, and waterproof packaging and sealing.
Gaffers tape features:
matte finish prevents unwanted light reflection (no glare)
vinyl-coated cloth tape allows for straight tears by hand and direct printing by pen, pencils and markers
residue-free adhesive allows for easy removal
rubber adhesive helps to resist water

Duct tape or duck tape is a polyethylene coated cloth tape used for general purpose HVAC use as well as color coding, packaging, and for inexpensive cable hold down in hotels and convention centers.
The 3 layers that make up duct tape provide the following benefits:
polyethylene plastic backing for waterproofing
cloth middle layer helps to facilitate tearing by hand
rubber adhesive helps to resist water and provides for a durable hold
