I know lots of children on farms have pet chickens and they make good pets for them as well. I love chickens and would get some but my dogs that are terriers would get to them unfortunately.

No sorry can't translate what the little girl is telling her chicken, but as you say the little video tells the story. I think there is the story in the article below the video, and i think it had been raining and the chicken got wet,

A friend's friend has two or three chicken silkies as pets. I would love to see one and touch them, said to feel like silk and satin. Called the teddy bear of the poultry world.
