I adore Matt and the entire Roloff family. Camper, you said it best. Maybe Matt made a mistake but we're all only human. They will always have my support.

You will if a cop pulls you over and arrests you for DUI and you ARE NOT legally drunk. Just because a LE officer SAYS you are drunk, does not make it true.

A breathalizer would contradict the officer, so in this instance it would be in your best interest to take one.

People with certain medical conditions have been put in jail for driving drunk when they were not.People who have seizures have been arrested for driving drunk when they were not.

Again, your best defense is to have taken the breathalizer to disprove you drank any alcohol.

there was a marathon on TV yesterday afternoon, & i watched several of the episodes.....Matt's a little bit of a jerk, imo....when his son Zack was getting ready to go into surgery on his leg, Matt asked the Dr, in front of Zack, if they'd be using buzz-saws & hammers during the procedure like they did 'in the day' when HE had HIS surgeries.....it was painfully obvious that this bothered Zack, & even Amy made a comment that Matt might want to know, but Zack probably didn't.....but Matt kept yakkin it up with the Dr in front of Zack....

Matt kept on & on relating to HIS surgeries during the episode...it seemed he wanted everything to be about him.....i like his wife Amy, but i don't really care for him.....i'll bet he's not 'a day in the park' to live with.....

if he refused the breathalyzer, he was drunk, & knew he'd fail it, imo....

The surgeries for Matt were the most traumatic time in his life. They were brutal and if he seemed insensitive to Zack, it wasn't intentional.

Any man who is a type-A personality like Matt can be a pain in the neck, IMO. While Amy grounds him somewhat, he is pretty driven when he gets something in his head. He is an obsessive thinker and finds it very difficult to let things go. Seems Matt has some issues with OCD, you think? LOL

The breathalizer test on a little person may not be an accurate accounting as it would since the test parameters are based on normal sized people. I think he was probably smart to refuse and let the attorney deal with it instead.

I'm watching. My daughter who is 17 just commented to me how fresh the kids talk to their parents. I have to agree. Molly, Jeremy and Jacob seem very bratty to me.

I agree--The family seems to be going downhill--Jeremy and Zach both failed Math and had to go summer school--and the kids bedrooms are still a horrible mess--both parents seem to be preoccupied,the mother cooking and Matt doing his projects all the time,meanwhile the kids appear spoiled and uninterested in homework(except for Molly who is doing well)--On the trip, it was funny at first with Matt trying to handle the RV but it degenerated into arguments later at Yosemite--Next week preview shows more arguments with the mother again saying let's go home

You know Peter I am starting to think that this family is actually being "harmed" from this show. Back in the 70's a family by the name of Loud, allowed a camera crew into their home for an extended period of time. If I remember correctly, the entire family ended up just going off the deep end. That was a documentary on PBS at the time.. I think the Roloffs are headed down the road to disaster. I don't know... I just have a bad feeling.

I remember seeing a documentary on the Loud Family--They divorced after the show and one of the sons,the gay one, died of AIDS--From what the docu showed,tho,Loud family appeared to be a lot wilder,out of control than the Roloffs and the mother had a world-weary look about her, so I'm nort sure its a valid comparison--but I get your point

The kids talked rather smarty pantish to their dad the last 2 episodes that aired last season.....looks like they started from where they left off.

I agree about their rooms being a mess and if you remember scenes from last season, there were times the entire house looked like that. I'm not talking about one or two things being out of place but I think they are hoarders....doesn't look like they throw things away or put things where they belong. The house usually always looks cluttered.

I do agree that the kids talk back to their parents quite a bit. And their house drives me insane. I could NEVER live like that. BUT, not everyone cares about a clean house. It's a matter of personality and priority.

--We love the house... from the outside--Its an attractive house and we like the acreage surrounding the house--They sure have great privacy and also they invite a lot of friends and schoolmates over all the time and seem to have fun(at the expense of good grades)--It sure looks like a nice place to live,if you don't mind all the cloudy weather

Nancy[/quote]--lol--I was only 16 then(1974)--but I was actually talking about the docu on the Louds "REvisited" special many years later--When the actual show was on i never saw it because I was in private school( No television allowed at the school for four years during primetime

Peter I was 17 when it was on and remember being glued to it. Early reality tv. I did see ther Louds revisited. What a sad ending to such an interesting family.

yeah--I remember Lance when they showed him on PBS a few weeks before he died--It was horrible,his body ravaged by AIDS nd Hepatitis--He hardly looked human--just an awful end for that poor guy
