Well, she didnt get the BOX of wine to look at it. :) No mother regardless of drunkenness kills her child out of the blue. Causing a drunken accident maybe... but you have to have it in you to do it even under the influence. Having a "black out" isnt exculpatory. She is still responsible for her actions IF a jury is following the law and not their emotions. The defense just wants to be sure to play on the emotions of potential jurors.

A woman on another board had an interesting take on it.. she said she thought that she killed the baby on accident and called the brother/guy who got the wine with her.. drank the wine to help her have the guts to dispose of the body. Interesting idea.

I think that many of us here had expressed belief there is a good possibility she killed the baby prior to getting "drunk". I am not going with "accident"...as I think many times people have a hard time coming to terms with a homicide when parents are involved.

..me too.

..deborah could hardly WAIT to get on TV and tell us numerous times just how "drunk" she was ( and therefore has an excuse for her various stories not matching up..) ----i'd like to know how much they drank---and did the neighbour think deborah was "drunk"..?

Yessirree - DB ran a media marathon telling the story of her alleged wine bender.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I don't believe she was *drunk*. I believe it's a fabricated excuse to justify her timeline gaps and her inconsistencies.

Does anyone have a link to Law Enforcement making the statement that they need to RE-interview these two boys AGAIN?

I'm genuinely curious to hear if they've made this statement and if so exactly what is their motive for needing to interview a 6 and 8 yr old boys more than once??

Just as the attorney on MG night before last stated it's proven that children involved in anyway in an investigation need to be interviewed as soon after the fact as is possible(due to obvious reasons of their memories quickly fading about small details that actually could infact be quite important).. But more importantly that it's proven that interviewing/questioning children more than the Initial interview has proven to provide false or inaccurate information, with each additional interview done the more inaccurate or false details are told..

The attorney stated that the parents are absolutely correct in not allowing their children to be repeatedly interviewed, that the boys have been interviewed and that LE already have the boys accounts of the events as they occurred..

So, I am genuinely curious to see if LE is infact requesting to AGAIN, REPEATEDLY interview these two boys.. And if so what do they think they're going accomplish?

TIA to anyone with a link to LE stating this..

It is interesting...
But the neighbor will surely be able to confirm that they were drinking wine earlier in the evening. And there must have been other neighbors who saw them sitting outside.

Okay two things I heard on NG interview that were new to me (besides what I scanned here quickly and I might have missed it so...forgive please? ) :)

1. Mom got up from LE interview (cutting interview short is what I took it to mean) because she had a network interview.

2. Baby bottle found on floor of Lisa's room.

Means nothing but those caught my ear. I had to watch on TV.

Also, Kansas does have a sunshine law, I just don't know what's covered under it or not? Might be good to look that up, I'm cooking dinner and washing clothes now haha. (3:10 in the afternoon here)

ETA: I KNOW they aren't in Kansas. Hahaha. Sorry, I don't know what I"m thinking! Excuse me please? :D
Baby bottle on the floor could be a number of things. Baby dropped it out of the crib (good chance baby would be crying). It fell out when the kidnapper took the baby out of the crib (and if she had been holding the bottle, good chance baby would be crying). It was staged to make it appear it fell out of the crib when the kidnapper took Lisa.

She may have access to their cell phone records...I don't know.

I'm not arguing for or against the 2:38 AM call. I'm just passing along the information about her tweet.

I don't think we will know for sure if there actually was a call or not until much later in the case.

Oh I know you're just the messenger. I think I remember the reports of her saying that. I just don't believe her, or I guess, more accurately - I don't think she was privy to many details about what really happened. :)

Well goodnight all. I have to say I'm really getting tired of the media bandwagons. IMO true reporting is out and our minds are being purposely swayed to further ratings. It's becoming increasingly difficult to sort fact from fiction and the victims are suffering more and more.

Understand completely. I didnt think the mother did it for a while myself. Then I heard the evolving stories, being uncooperative, and revisions to the story.. plus the previous behavior explained by her neighbors on base and her own changing personality. Now she is almost confrontational.. as in how dare you not believe every word I utter or dare to question me. Now I guess Im judging her harshly myself, I believe she did it. I try to be one of the "good guys" and give folks he benefit of the doubt since Ive seen myself that victims dont always act "textbook".. but this is a little much with the mother.

I can tell you this in all honesty, for me.. Id be with LE bugging them to death.Id be shouting her name from the rooftops and NOT having every interview centered on myself. Id be beating the bushes and giving LE anything they wanted. Id not cut an interview with the people who may find my daughter to get my face on TV in a useless network interview. The behavior and why Im judging her on it isnt just one instance.. but the whole body of behavior since the baby vanished.

Flame away Mother Supporters.. its just my anonymous opinion and armchair sleuthing :)

Thanks,

.........hmmm.. Believe a Judge who says there was a record of a call
........or believe the relative of a possible suspect.....

Bouncing off your post, our kids had learned by that age to throw things out of the crib when they wanted us to come in there. I wonder if Lisa wanted someone, they never came, then she started crying more, and more... When a child has a cough/cold, the last thing you want is for them to cry b/c it just generates more mucous and gets them more congested. At least mine would - and then they would start coughing/sputtering...

After 3, I wouldn't trust myself to 'hold' an infant...

Seriously. If I had "between 5 and 10" I would be puking my guts out. It seems to me that she has a pretty good tolerance built up if she can sit home and knock back that much wine on a monday night.

Yes, but apparently her "adult" time was more important than caring for her sick infant.

That is exactly what I thought. If I gave my girl a bottle and she did not want to stay in bed she would throw it out as fast as she could and usually be crying simultaneously. I wonder if it was empty or full?
