Well, it was early on in the case. The parents drove out to where LE was searching the woods near the house. There was a confrontation and they left, and IIRC, that was when the parents stopped cooperating with LE.
That was at the command center.

I have a ipod and you can hold it normally or sideways taking a picture.. Does anyone have both a ipod and iphone? Is one bigger? The reason Im thinking iphone/ipod is the clicking the children heard..these make a very distinctive clicking while pushing buttons..

  • #503
I think that was the one at the command center, if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, you can turn it off or on.

I have both an iphone and an ipad. To me, this looks too big to be an iphone and too small to be an ipad. I would assume it's some other brand of smartphone. Looks like the sliding kind, with the keyboard that slides under the screen - a Droid, or something similar? But I'm just guessing...

I agree, I have the ipad2 - what she is holding is much smaller... my hubby has the iphone, but, this looks bigger... the iphone also takes pics from the upright position - it doesn;t have to be turned sideways...

Both devices have the "find my ipad/iphone" feature built in - it does have to be turned on during set up .. anyway.. it shows exactly where the ipad is...kinda freaky!

I tried.

looks like a mini video camera to me. The ones that the side flips out?

Could it be a camera? Not a phone or any of those i-thingies but just a regular digital camera?
lol, wouldn't that be funny. An actual camera. Who uses those things anyway?

IMO if it's a camera it's an older/clunkier model. Actually... I might be able to get some information off the photo in photoshop... I know mine have all sorts of information in them. But I'm not sure now that it's been through so many hands/sources.

What gives you that impression? Just curious :)

I just believe that if LE spent 16 hours at the house and pretty much used everything known to man to find them, that they did. I also think that is why it's been so quiet today. They are getting everything ready for an arrest.

But, this is just what I think and am hoping for.

Wish I could see it better....from what I see, an iphone turned sideways....but I see little :maddening:

I've been thinking the same thing. The calm before the storm...

That would be nice...

I'd rather find out that they didn't find them or anything and that DB & JI likely weren't involved after all. It improves her chance of being alive anyway.

I agree with the idea that if DB and JI are guilty- then there is no way they did that much searching and didn't find something.

Maybe if I was lucky and stumbled upon the original upload- but with these I tried, I'm just getting the reprocessing information (the photo editors it's been through) and not the camera info. Sorry.

To me it looks bigger than an iphone in perspective. I'd vote off-brand tablet, but I'm known to be wrong on this sort of thing :floorlaugh:

Seeing it bigger in PS- I no longer say tablet. It's shorter than I thought seeing it at first. It is closer to a GPS size, but it's obviously not a GPS. So I give up, because I don't really know why I'm trying to figure it out :waitasec:

I need sleep.

I'm so confused I had to look at the title of the thread to be sure I'm in the right place LOL... I phones, querty boards, I pad 2, slide phones....blackberries etc. :panic:

Am I the only technically challenged person here??????:waitasec:

Yes, let's watch for her carrying out a big bag full of pictures and videos. We all learned so much from the last trial.

On my computer in the bottom right hand corner of the screen there's a magnifying glass symbol that I use to magnify pictures and the print. When I magnify the picture I can definitely say the top of the object is smooth. There does not appear to be a button on the top to snap the picture as in a camera like mine.

That's probably the total of my contribution to this subject right now. LOL
