Wishful thinking but I hope this is a sign she is trying to sabotage the case. lol
THe one I don't understand is Jeremy.... He says he wasn't there, the LE says he was ON video proving he was at work, ....
Onthe hother hand, he has his girlfriend saying she was drunk, changin her timeline, pulling hissy fits wanting new detectives that will accept a kidnapping theory, ect ect...
We have the LE telling JI that a CADAVER dog hit in HIS bedroom! THe one that he shares with his girlfriend who sleeps IN that bed.... who even admits to sleeping in that bed THAT night......
WTH is wrong with him? He is her father!! I just don't get it.....
What about the Irwin family - seems like they support Debrah also....WHY????
If their lawyer is making claims without them knowing, agreeing to said statement or is spinning it because of something going on behind the scenes....that doesn't scream a fruitful representation, IMO.
I'm not ripping anyone apart. It's a combination of various factors that have me questioning their priorities. It's my opinion. I care about Lisa and I wish words like "exhaustion" - "not sitting down separately with LE" etc spoken by any of the players in this case wouldn't even be uttered or apparently necessary.
It's certainly not helping Lisa. The victim.
All my opinion :twocents:
sure we are.
They're sitting around exhausted and grieving. They aren't speaking out on lisa's behalf, trying to reason with the abductor, and they are not pounding the streets with flyers.
Action speaks louder than words, or in this case, inaction.
My god, and i never thought i'd utter these words, but casey anthony did more to "help" find caylee via flyers and working the command center, and talked on and on with le right before her arrest.
Imo
excuse me while i go vomit now.
Great questions.
In the initial interviews JI's body language towards Debbie was interesting. he looked like he was shocked and horrified by both what had occured and by the person standing next to him weeping. He was faced with the choice of picking sides, and he chose the side of his family.
Remember when he was asked about the dumpster fire and he said he had not heard about it?
That tells you something important in my opinion. EVERYONE following the search for this infant heard about that fire, and multiple times. Everyone in the city probably, knew about that fire. Except him.
That suggests to me that he had NOT been following the search. He had been deliberately distancing himself from it -- he did not want to know. In my opinion he was and is totally uninvolved beyond supporting his family. I believe, based on his words, body language, and actions, that he has a very good idea that Deborah was involved in this, and he doesn't want to know.
I'm calling BS on the exhaustion. Short had to know how cancelling would look - it looks bad. Something else took priority.
IMO
It was painful to try and type. My fingers refused to move, they dodged the keys with each attempt. So I had to type that part with a pen in my mouth, pecking the keys like a chicken.I was all set to "like" your post... until I read the part about Casey... I know what you mean but :silenced:
Other than that, ITA! Lisa's actions are speaking louder than words!
BBMIMHO...this family is not diabolical. I believe they are young, naive, unsophisticated, and may be getting some terrible advice. DB and JI could indeed be guilty, either one or both of them, but I just don't see them as being criminal masterminds. Neither one of them has been in the criminal justice system, nor do they have long records or any serious brushes with the law. I wonder if either one of them has any idea of the magnitude of what's happening around them.
Do you remember when Josie Lou Ratley was so severely beaten, and her mother did an interview with some show - I think it was GMA?
She couldn't talk. The woman literally could not comprehend the questions she was being asked, and couldn't answer them.
Weeks later as Josie recovered, her true personality returned and she's poised, fluid, calm.
I think you might be interested in googling that case and looking at her. Deborah might look like that right now.
I thought the home tour and the presser was going to be the attorney speaking, not Deborah?
The only time I saw him look oddly toward her was when she said she drinks 3-4 times a week, he clearly startled. Either he was surprised she admitted it, he was surprised at how often she drinks, or he thinks she drinks a lot more than that. Something made him react to her answer -don't know what.
ITA gram and would like to add my :twocents:
I do think there is some discussion as to conducting the interview of the boys tomorrow. Those boys KNOW - whether or not its only one that actually "witnessed" something - they both know now because brothers will talk. The parents (plural) also KNOW that the boys KNOW. The parents (or maybe just one) wants this to STOP. Give it up - so to speak. To save the boys from all this.
Maybe its not the parents at all but the grandparent(s) that are trying to get the parents to understand - just give in - tell what you know type thing.
I do think this was an accident. I do. I'm convinced of it.
I hope and pray that this festering discourse will come to a "healthy" end and little Baby Lisa can be laid to rest properly.
But that's JMHO

I was thinking earlier and thought maybe they announced this tour and pc to keep Lisa in the news, since yesterday was sort of slow as far as media is concerned (at least I didn't notice as much coverage). Once they learned of a search, they knew that would be enough to keep the reporters going today and possibly tomorrow. Weekends are mostly reruns, so therefore they can wait until monday to do the tour and pc to kick off the new week and keep her face out there.
I don't know if they are guilty or innocent, but this is one way to keep Lisa on tv (even negative attention is attention and gets her pic put up). How many other children are missing and we don't see anything on national tv? It could be a very smart move or it could be something else. We don't know. I hope it is just to get her pic shown.
