I think there have been arguments made that how the jury is chosen has a huge affect on the outcome trials here in the US.
It looks the jury selection process is different in Canada, so at least we don't have to worry about that too much.
Up until recently I never would have thought that how a jury was chosen could have such a dramatic effect on the verdict...
