I saw on the JII site that people are bidding them up and not paying to flub up the sales. The JA crazies were really upset about it saying "It's terrible those JA haters are doing this making it difficult for those who appreciate real art from buying it" and many more I can't remember right now. I did think it would be a good idea for us to all get together and buy them all and then make a youtube video of burning them.
It infuriates me that she is making money off these while having the state pay for her defense. Can this be told to the jury?

ah, brilliant, though probably totally against ebay rules hehe.

Yet another oddity about Jodi. Who goes around giving different heights on their license?

 No kidding. Most people lie about their weight not their height!

Good work!

I can't remember if it was talking heads or the ME, but I've read somewhere that the knife was maybe 5" long. That does not make sense, because if a knife goes all the way to the hilt, it would be difficult to pull it back out unless it was in extremely soft tissue.

IMO, it had to be a chef's knife that was used because that type of knife is the only one I can think of which would be strong enough for such a savage attack. The taper of a chef's knife also comes into play. A utility knife blade would break.

JA did work in a restaurant at the time. Betcha she got the knife there. It would have been of decent quality and well honed.

Remember her parents owned restaurants too.

<respectfully snipped>

Actually, JW's wardrobe is about the only thing that I do like about her. While I agree that her straight skirts are a bit tight, her courtroom attire is appropriate, neat, and professional (I'm thinking that it's Ann Taylor). JW's accessories are also well-chosen: chic and stylish but not gaudy. I agree about the long bangs that are too much with her glasses that she seems to wear constantly. I would like to see her long hair pulled back or in a sleek daytime up-do. This would give the petite attorney some height and make her look more mature. And that's my fashion report for the day :)

It's not so much that I think her clothes are too tight as that they're too tight for the setting. If I ran into her on the street I would not think she's a lawyer. I used to work with many lawyers, and was married to one, and they would think her suit was inappropriate. But that was a long time ago and times may have changed. I agree with the hair: she just needs to pull it back or up; nothing wrong with long hair. But really, this is JMO and a pretty unimportant opinion on a pretty unimportant subject at that!

OK...this video is really bothering me. It says there are both sock prints and shoe prints in the blood. So...scenarios: Jodi is running around in her stocking feet, pulling Travis from hallway to bathroom. Stops, puts her shoes on, walks around bathroom some more? Or does she put her shoes on to attempt to clean the bathroom?

God I wish she'd just tell the freaking truth!

Thank you so much for providing the link. Very interesting and pretty much what I suspected about Mr. S.

I do have a question for anyone who might know. I did not see the beginning of Mr. Samuels testimony. Didn't they go over his credentials at the beginning. What were his credentials, does anyone know? Thanks in advance. :seeya:

Yes, Willy went over them ad nauseum. He's worked in his field for 35 years, but surprisingly, has only administered one of the tests he gave JA approx. 15times.

He used to evaluate couples for child custody fights in NJ, and was sanctioned there for bartering his services with a father in a custody battle, for dental services.

He has a PhD, but no MD, has apparently not ever published, and uses magazine articles as references/evidence on the stand. :seeya:

yes i thought she might be a man in the past based on the way her hands and privates looked. barf.

Omigosh!!! I have been thinking that very thing for so long. I just didn't want to post it. And even, as we speak, I still think of the murder as "he" ... I don't know why I think that ... but I just have an overwhelming feeling ..

Even as I type this, I feel really freaked ... not sure why I feel this. But this does happen to me from time to time ... and ... well, it's a very strong feeling and quite often turns out to be .... krect! :what:

I have dreams/nightmares at night about this horrible crime. I hear (in my nightmare) Jodi approaching Travis in her "male" voice and scaring the shyte out of him. He is so ashamed and angry. He never knew. He almost seems to just deflate in fear and understand that his life is over.

I know this sounds weird ... but dreams are very weird. But I almost feel like there's a grain of truth in there. Okay ... now I've put it out there that I am certifiably insane. Please don't hate me ... it was just a nightmare. But I wonder if there is any possibility that she/he could be both sexes (hermaphrodite) I know this has been discussed before ... but ... call me crazy, I just brought it up again.

Something else that has been nagging me and I would like to see if any WSers noticed this as well. During Jodi's testimony covering her "foggy" drive into the desert following the murder of Travis, she mentions that she came out of the "fog" to discover she had blood on her and that she was barefoot. She stated that she had left her shoes behind. Well, I've looked everywhere and have not seen any mention of Jodi's shoes being found at the crime scene. Have any of you seen anything? We do know that she had on a pair of black socks in the photo where she is dragging Travis down the hallway. There were socks in the washing machine.

No shoes found at the scene, she took them. My biggest problem with her being covered with blood is the fact they found one bloody palm print....that's it, in the entire house, one lousy palm print. No bloody finger prints on doors or handles, and she's never been called out on it.

Thats where I get confused. I know there was the 'discrepancy' between the two sheets of raw data. Samuels admitted that he 'recalculated' one of the sheets from memory because he sent it in and had no access to it. [ which makes no sense in itself.] So one test was scored as a 15 and one as a 17. Okay....clown move. :clown:

But this paper that Juan pulled out at the very, very end of the day seems like something BESIDES that recalculation gaffe. It was something that he seemed to insinuate was being hidden from him. And he had already dealt with the other scoring discrepancy thing so...?
IIRC, he was asking to see the part of the test where she had to color in the circles. RS only had a copy of Jodi's supposed answers (the ones that would be computer analyzed, I assume?) He complained that his notes had been torn apart. JM wants to see the original one...the one that he would have 3-hole punched and put in his binder. He was obviously given a copy that the DT provided. Where the heck the original one is, is anyone's guess.
Hope I got that right.

I guess any score at all means someone could still be suffering from PTSD. Maybe they could send me a pamphlet!

I scored a 6 and was told the same thing. I was thinking about a night-time, flat-tire-induced freeway spinout that I had in 2008.

I've been looking through several timelines trying to get a better perspective of their relationship from the first meeting.

I cant seem to find one. I am wondering when things went downhill for them.

They met Sept. 2006

Spent some time at the Hugh's a week later ? I don't believe things went down <cough> the way JA claims. I think she was fantasizing these things. So why not testi lie away on the stand. Ahem. Moo

Is the truck stop romance next ?

How did she know Travis was having a party in Dec. ? And why wasn't she invited. I mean.... He did baptize her in November, right ?

Something happened and dag nab it I want to know !!!

Hehe

Ryan Smith is going to be speaking to Kim Goldman shortly on HLN.

Kim Goldman's message for Travis Alexander's family
Editor’s note: Kim Goldman is the sister of Ron Goldman, who was brutally murdered in 1994. She was in the courtroom during the trial of O.J. Simpson, who was accused of and acquitted of the murder. Goldman is the executive director of Santa Clarita Valley Youth Project and contributing author of “His Name is Ron: Our Search for Justice.”

Do you mean the shoe print in the picture that someone with a shoes on clearly stepped through the wet blood?

Look at the ledge of the shower stall - those blood transfer imprints are from that same shoe print on the floor. You have to really look at the shower stall ledge, and then suddenly, you'll see it's the shoe pattern!

Hi, I wish any fellow who had dated Jodi would have taken the stand to say he only dated Jodie for the sex, couldnt stand her, knew Travis felt the same!
I'm sure there is some truth to this statement out there somewhere.:floorlaugh: I truly feel Travis had no real feelings for her. With everything including her lying I'm sure she's not the girl a fellow would take home to mom, unless thet were birds of a feather!! :seeya:

I'm giving TA the benefit of the doubt. I suspect when TA first met JA she was on her best behavior and he did find her attractive and at first he probably didn't notice her odd behaviors. She offerred him things he had not yet experienced and once he had, it was hard for him to stop. I mean really he was 30. He did see her for a while, but as time went on he began to be aware of parts of her personality he did not care for. Seems to me they both were interested in the sex.

I suspect he wasn't just interested in her for just the sex, but for the companionship too, at first. Once he realized how needy, demanding and troublesome she was, he began to pull away and realized this was not the kind of girl he wanted. I just don't think he disgarded her because she was the three-hole wonder and that it was just for the sex that he dated her, but because he began to see sides to her personality that he didn't really like.

I believe her overbearing personality was the reason he viewed her as not marriage material. I don't think it is fair to TA to say he just used her for the sex I suspect he was not that shallow. And the poor man is not here to say, so we can only image. Probably the women TA had previously met in his life were nice gals, not borderling crazy. You know, sometimes it takes a while to read between the lines. Just my opinion

IMO she washe herself off before she left the upstairs. Since we all saw the pics that had her in pigtails ( which could be premeditative as well ). He!! I bet when she came back to kill him she had on a damn shower cap. Wouldn't supersize me.

Or.."maybe she drenched the pigtails and herself with the sunblock first so the blood would was off easier,...who knows..

You know what's even more sickening? That she lives with her husband and 3 children in some tropical location (I think. Not sure on the location name). Someone wrote an e-book about finding her.

She reminds me of Jodi--she had them all fooled that she was an abused woman and had no part in the crimes--she got out & then the videos of the torture and rape of those little girls surfaced & proved she's as sick as her ex-husband.:furious:

Sorry for the O/T. ITA she is a monster, and she got off far too lightly for her crimes, but she was definitely battered. There are photos of her after he had beaten her where her eyes are bruised almost to the point of being shut.

View attachment Karla.bmp

It doesn't excuse what she did, but a different situation than JA who has no case at all for claiming domestic violence.

Yet another oddity about Jodi. Who goes around giving different heights on their license?

Funny (maybe?) OT story about licenses and heights. When I first got my license I was 17and I had a doctor's appointment or something a few days earlier where I had to fill out a form saying my height that form asked for it in inches so I put down 64 inches. I went to the DMV, filled out the form and it asked for height but didn't specify at this time inches or feet/inches so I assumed just inches was the going format for height. Again, put down 64 inches. The clerk woman entered all this info without concern and I got my licenses in the mail, no issue. I never inspected and a year later a friend asked to see my license picture and then looked at it and saw the lady entered 6'4" instead of 64 inches or converting it! According to my license I was an Amazon woman! My new one is correct now though.
I changed my eye color from blue to green though on my license new one, unintentionally. I didn't realize I put blue on the first one so when I renewed it I filled out the form and the clerk pointed out my eyes changed colors lol. I should just stay out of the DMV...
