Just broke on Jane VM Show - reporters have uncovered that Arias was originally booked to go on the Cancun trip with Travis.

In April, Travis changed the ticket to Mimi Hall's name.

If true, this is pretty big news, and could point to motive???

I'm listening to Mimi's testimony right now. She said he didn't ask her to go until early May.

I about had a heart attack last night...I fell asleep on the couch with the TV on...JM was still dealing with Dr Ummmm.....I guess my mind melded the JA trial with news that came on later....I 'heard' that a car had been stopped after a chase, and there was a weapon found in the car. For about a minute and a half I swore they said that JA's Mom was in a police chase and they found the gun in the car OMG....I have to start taking breaks from the trial every couple of hours!

IIRC, Travis invited Mimi to go in early May. He could have removed Jodi's name in April though.

That makes perfect sense. She taped the blackmail sex convo around that time so this all fits.

And also, remember he was supposed to go visit jodi in may and canceled it at least once. and now she finds out Mimi's the one who's replacing her.

I listened to Mimis testimony yesterday. She was asked that question. Don't quote me she does give an answer and I believe it was in May. She needed a few days to think about it and did decide she would go as friends on the trip.

Not wanting Jodi on the trip doesn't necessarily mean he had someone else in mind to take. Just means he definitely didn't want Jodi on the trip.

Mimi could have been an after thought since there was already a ticket available.

Just speculating.

They would have to show that she knew she was on the list for the trip in the first place.

Maybe TA added her back when he liked her, before he realized she was whacko obsessive stalker. Maybe he was going to surprise her.

I can't imagine Jodi knowing that and not making sure we all knew he was going to take her to Cancun. She did everything possible to make sure everyone knew her "girlfriend" status, that would have cemented it.

Then she would have made up some bull excuse as to why she decided not to go. (pedophilia?)

So if that tidbit is true, I wonder if Jodi even knew it.

This message is also for Thurston. Thurston, I also was on another website forum just reading the posts and without warning they included a headshot of Travis' crime scene photo with his gaping neck wound and I dropped to my knees and started crying. I cried all morning, I was a mess. I have always had mixed feelings about the death penalty but when I seen just that one photo, I said OH YES, DEATH TO JODI ARIAS! I never want to see another crime scene photo of him. I don't think I could handle it like some people can. That was enough for me and believe me, I have seen crime scene photos in the past. I hope my memory of that photo will fade away. I would rather remember Travis as he was in life. I was talking w/my brother today about the trial and he knows very little about the trial but commented that 'that trial should have been done a long time ago!" He said the trial with the grandmother who shot her grandson is already over with. I hope and pray the jury awards the murderess with the title of DEATH ROW INMATE! Rot in prison and in hell, Jodi Arias!

I understand completely. *hugs* I saw those photos and then the one where he is doing the silly sweet dance and I burst into tears. I can't even watch some of the happy videos.

I've never HATED anyone as much as I hate her. I can't wait for Verdict Day. I won't enjoy a good night's sleep till then.

This would make so much sense. It would explain why she would go as far as buying the two tubes of sunblock at Walmart on the way to kill TA...just in case he changed his mind and decided to bring her to Cancun. IMHO, if he had, he wouldn't have been brutally murdered by her that day. Since it was a PPL event, I wonder if PPL has a record that the prosecution could review that contains of his named "guest" for the Cancun trip and any changes to that. Or maybe even the airline since the ticket would have to be in his guests name per FSA/TSA rules (not sure which one makes this rule but you have to name the passenger on the ticket). Anyone heard anything about these things being checked?

WOW!!! Yes, I just heard JVM's producer dropping this bombshell, too. But the producer didn't provide enough backup facts.

For example, I'm wondering if the producer learned that Travis took Jodi's name off the Cancun ticket 1) as "hearsay" via a friend of Travis', or 2) officially via the airline reservation system.

If it's true, I hope JM asks the judge ASAP to allow this as trial evidence. IMO, it bolsters the premeditation theory, and seriously erodes her self-defense claim.

It comes from HLN and the report I saw didn't give any specifics. I want to know what the source is. Is this an email or text from Travis to someone? Or is it so and so said Travis said etc...? Or is there a document from PPL?
