I got an update on my FB about a protection order against the person who wished her dead. I think it was a justice for TA update.... not sure about the basis for it though.

The possibility of this takes the cake! JA said: 1) she'd beg for the DP if she killed TA, and 2) she was suicidal because life as she'd known it would be over.

So, now she really-really wants to live?!

I guess she's A-Okay being incarcerated, after all. Hey, she no longer has to pay bills, gets to eat for free, probably writes/draws most of the day, probably enjoys reading her fan mail for a while, and can even take free Spanish courses!

I had a revelation earlier today and maybe someone else has already posted this same idea....this kinda piggy backs on what people are saying right now about JA trying to get Travis to change his mind about Cancun and for that matter, the future of their relationship. This will also answer the question of why Jodi had a gun and a knife....it will also convince those who think there was no sex that there was sex (ok they are stubborn folks so probably not).

Jodi brought the rope. And she brought the knife to cut it. I think Travis was expecting her and the way she got back into his good graces was the way she always did, by using sex. Tying Jodi up was a fantasy of his that didn't work previously because they used twine. I can't picture Travis buying "soft" rope for Jodi and keeping it at his house just in case. No, I think Jodi bought it...maybe on the way, maybe in Yreka. Doesn't matter. So she promised Travis he could live out that fantasy with her.

I know. A lot of people here don't think there was ever a rope and I used to think that, too. But now I think there was a rope and I think there was a knife to cut it. Both provided by her.

Where does the gun come in then? This was her last desperate attempt to change his mind. If he didn't she was going to threaten suicide...something I think she probably had done before when she didn't get her way. So she stole grandpa's gun to take to AZ and show Travis she was serious. Think Betty Broderick and Jean Harris.

During the shower pics, Travis said something to seal the deal that the relationship was over. Now she's enraged. I think she got up from her crouched position accidentally taking the pic of Travis sitting (no head) as she was getting up. She Went into the other room still carrying the camera, got the gun and came back holding it to her head. Now she's all Betty Broderick crazy. She drops the camera (ceiling pic). Travis tackles her just like she said and she dropped the gun just like she said BUT SHE DIDN'T SHOOT HIM. He tackles her to save her, not because she dropped his d*** camera. They tumble to the floor. The camera gets kicked across the bathroom and into the hall during the struggle.

The knife is right there on the edge of the sink, so she reaches up and she in full rage now. she stabs him in the chest and abdomen while Travis is still on the floor. Blood splatters on the baseboard and toilet from Travis' hands as he tries to block the knife. Travis manages to get up and supports himself while leaning over the sink, dazed and coughing up blood. Jodi's stabbing him in the back, neck and head, and he falls to the floor. He's on all fours and won't die. Travis crawls down the hall where he collapses and Jodi cuts his throat. She then drags him back down the hall. All in 62 seconds. There's no running around or body slam.

Jodi's exhausted/exhilarated. Travis is on the floor. She finds the gun and contemplates shooting herself but she can't do it. She now realizes that she has to clean up and get out. But first she stages the scene. She shoots Travis in the head making it look like there were two intruders. 2 weapons, 2 intruders. She stuffs him in the shower and rinses off

Now, I know there are problems with this theory, but for me, it satisfies some major problems I've had with what happened in that bathroom.

me too, I'm over there on the Justice for TA site too. It is showing the screen shot of the same item that I believe Karmady looked into and it appeared to be a motion to prevent acess of dt fee history. Interesting to see if both are happening

I looked on one of the fb support sites but don't see it. Can you tell me how to find it and I'll tell you if it's the same as what I looked at?

Has anyone considered the possibility that JA was charged for 2 facial cleansers by accident and when she noticed the error she went back for a refund.

(This happened to me at Target a couple of months ago, but I caught it as I was going over my receipt and before i left the store).

Is that why she keeps insisting she got a refund. Maybe she did, BUT not for the gas can.

Just throwing it out there.

Wouldn't they have marked the receipt?

At any rate, I don't think so, she seems to like buying things in twos. IIRC she mentioned something about being a couponer for some reason?? She didn't use any. Besides, IDK what couponer would pay that much for sunscreen. MOO

That's what I heard, too. She changed her name, is married to the brother of her prison attorney and has three children.

ETA: There was a special on E! News this morning ranking the top 15 Notorious Fatal Beauties (or something like that). I can't remember what number she was, but CA was number one.

Sorry for OT :)

Here is the scoop on Karla. Her hubby is Thiery Bordelais and they live on Guadeloupe. You can download a book about it.

They always mark the item you have returned by underlining or circling that item on the receipt..

speaking of "hacking" Travis' computer, Jodi usually doesn't say anything unless it is a lie or a tidbit to flaunt in someone's face or excuse.

She made comments several times about Travis' computer having a virus and the little bugs eating the screen or something like that. I've had blue screen before or my anti-virus pop up and tell me I've got a virus....never little bugs "eating" the screen, so to speak. Jodi commented it looked cute. Did she mess his computer up on purpose?

IIRC, the computer forensics team indicated there were no viruses on Travis' computer and in the Flores report, the indication is that the last activity on Travis' computer was like 4:19pm June 4, and it was email activity.

But you recently said "God bless Jodi" (not here). I'm confused.

My comment only reflected what I assume a disinterested male is thinking. "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬" is not a word that's typically in my personal repertoire. But I think men like TA and possibly some on the jury might use it.

I think she bought kerosene and that is why the purchase is so small. She camped with her family and with MM. She would know you use kerosene not gas to start a fire with. jmo

Maybe in Jodi's world, buying a kerosene container made sense to her. (no record of gas can, who knows how her brain works?) Have you seen her sneak things in court? Lining up cans side by side while the clerk is inside busy--with the blue one at the end, out of sight, would be easy. I thought the receipt was for 5.09 gallons...sounds like she might over-filled it a bit. That gas comes out fast, always scares me when I fill for my can for the lawn mower. :twocents:

I think they scan that ticket and it would be on record...
